I have been going to Dr. Mortenson for 20 years. I simply love him! He's a great dentist, always cheerful, very funny and he does great work. His staff is excellent too. They are friendly and very professional and the services are affordable.

I am one of those people that get scared just thinking about a visit to the dentist. I recently lost a very old and large filling that needed to be repaired with a root canal and a crown. Dr. Mortenson tried to keep my mind occupied with stories and explained each step as it was done to keep my anxiety at a minimum. The shots were the least painful of any that i have ever had. All of the other people in his office are kind and caring. I have had other work done in the past and all of my experiences have been great.

Had a dental emergency over the weekend and this office was recommended to me by a few coworkers. Not only was their office able to get me right in away but everyone was super nice and helpful. Dr. Mortenson was very kind and made me feel like I was right at home. Also shout out to the front desk staff for helping me with an insurance issue. This office has made a customer for life.

I have been a patient at Bozeman Dental Group for many years. I have always received very professional, friendly service and excellent advise for my dental care. The entire staff, from the front desk, through hygienists and assistants, to Drs. Mortenson & Lyons, have made me feel welcome, valued, & comfortable at all of my visits.
When two years ago, just before leaving to teach a field course, I broke a tooth, they were able to see me quickly & set a crown, so I would not be out in the field with a broken tooth. Recently, when that same tooth broke further, Dr. Mortenson reset the crown quickly.

The dental office was immaculate, from the front office to the treatment rooms. They have the latest dental equipment and the staff plus wonderful. Savanna was my dental hygienist and she was super friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. I only had a quick check from the dentist for a well check , but they seem great too.

Had an appointment with Dr. Dean today a monday. Hadn't slept for 48 hrs due to tooth pain. Got the feeling I was to low level of a patient to work on. Was given unnecessary attitude. Did not receive any help. Was pushed out the door and referred to the low income dentist. I do own a business and am willing to pay the bill in full on the spot. I felt judged and humiliated. Not recommended. Not happy. Still in pain.

I've had to sit in a lot of dentist chairs in my life, and I can honestly say that my visit to Dr. Mortenson was the best experience I've ever had in a dentist office. His staff was very friendly and professional and I was seated almost immediately. My last trip to the dentist was a couple of years ago and so unfortunately I was in need of a crown and two fillings. Dr. Mortenson used a new vibration tool that made the injections to numb me up virtually painless. He worked very efficiently and I appreciated his explanation of the process. It's been 12 hours since I left the office and my teeth all feel great. No pain at all. I would definitely recommend Bozeman Dental to anyone looking for a new dentist.

I've been going to Bozeman Dental Associates for 6 years - Dr. Lyons and Dr. Mortenson are fantastic. I had an unexpected needed crown recently and Dr. Mortenson got it fixed that day. Very quick and easy. The whole staff is friendly and helpful.
Update: I've since moved from Montana, but the new dentist I've been seeing told me the crown I have is one of the best he's ever seen and asked who did it. Really great work!
