I have been using Alpenglow Dental for 4 years now. I go twice per year for regular cleanings and also for any additional work that needs done. I have always had friendly experiences with their front desk staff, dental hygienist (Allison) and with Dr. Larson. I always feel anxious before arrival because I have cold-sensitive teeth but they take the time to warm their water and help me relax. They are very knowledgeable and insightful. I trust this dentist and would recommend them to anyone in need of a dentist in the valley.

DO NOT choose Alpenglow Dental!! My husband went in for an appointment today and said the receptionist was so rude and basically acted like he was a scumbag because we had a balance we knew NOTHING about. Turns out they dropped our insurance Fed BCBS back in February and failed to let us know. I called them and was basically yelled at and talked over when I did try to speak. They tried telling me that they sent several letters and emails (which we saw NONE of, EVER). When I was asked why we weren’t told this information at our appointment in May, she just replied with “I can’t tell you why somebody didn’t say anything then.” Mind you I was given an estimate on a procedure I was suppose to be getting this week, IN MAY with my CURRENT insurance! I asked her why we never received a call, especially if we had a balance and she responded with “we see 700 patients and can’t call everyone”. EVERY healthcare professional I’ve known would call you, especially if you had an unpaid balance. If you want poor communication, surprise bills, and people yelling at you, this is the right place for you!

Normally dentist visits leave me super anxious, but my visit with Dr. Light at Alpenglow was nothing like that. His entire team was absolutely amazing. They were all kind, VERY knowledgeable, and told me exactly what was going on every step of the way which was a real comfort. I will definitely be keeping Alpenglow as my routine dental office!

I've been to Alpenglow Dental before, but today was my first visit with Dr. Light. He and helping staff were very helpful and friendly. They really put my mind at ease, provided comprehensible answers to all my questions, and were very conscientious of my financial concerns. They gave me clear instructions for post-visit care and helped by making me a plan for further work I needed done. Overall, I was very pleased with my experience today. My 4 year old is very hot and cold when it comes to dental visits. This particular visit, he was less than cooperative. All the staff were extremely patient and understanding. Tried various methods to get him to cooperate and completely understood that it just wasn't the day for it and got us rescheduled. I've been using Alpenglow Dental for myself for several years now and will continue to use them for my family due to the great atmosphere and people.

Alpenglow is a phenomenal dental office. The staff is professional, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and detailed. Every staff member goes out of their way to care for the patients. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a smile and they just go above and beyond. No one ever acts like they are in a hurry, but take time with people. I am grateful to have found Alpenglow.
