I have been a patient of Vacek Family Dentistry since 2008. I didn't see a dentist for several years before 2008 because the previous dentist had poor bedside manners. I asked a co-worker which dentist he likes, and he referred me to Dr Vacek. I have been pleased with every visit.
I had cleanings, cavity fillings, and a couple tooth extractions at Vacek Dentistry. Every time I had work done, the staff member did everything they could to make sure I was a comfortable as possible. That means a lot to me. Their work is very high quality too. I was also impressed that the staff started checking blood pressure which mean they sometimes alert a patient that they have high blood pressure.
The only reason I had teeth pulled is I went a few years without checkups and cleanings when I didn't have insurance, so take care of your teeth so you don't lose them! I highly recommend Vacek Dentistry.

I cannot recommend Dr. Vacek and his whole team enough! I’ve been visiting them now for ~10 years and it’s always been fabulous - I couldn’t come up with a single complaint if I tried my hardest. 10 out of 10, easily.
I randomly landed on Vacek Family Dentistry on a whim after reading a few reviews and I’m so glad I did. I remember hesitating a ton to make my first appointment after not being to a dentist for some time. Getting myself to the appointment was even tougher, but man did the WHOLE staff at Vacek Family Dentistry go out of their way to make me feel comfortable, cozy, and welcomed - and continue to do so every time I go back. Dr. Vacek is a boss and does amazing work to help keep your teeth in check, all with a personable touch.
I also can’t go without mentioning Morgan who takes A+++ care during cleanings and is so, so friendly! I love catching up with her every 6 months! 🙂

Dr. Vacek and his all his staff were amazing. I have always kept up with routine dental care. I wasn't sure how thorough my care was I decided to change dentist. After my first exam they were able to show me that I had a few problematic spots that they recommended treatment for. I believe these were likely not new but missed areas. I am greatful for the complete assessment and communication I received. I would highly recommend this dental office!

I transferred cares from another town in Nebraska to Lincoln. Through a family member who has undergone prolonged dental restoration, she recommended Vacek Family Dentistry. I have seen Dr. Murray twice now and feel blessed to be under his cares. He is so very kind, uses humor with gentle cares and is so very professional. He teaches at the UN College of Dentistry 3 days a week and he is, as he self-describes, a "bit OCD" about getting it perfect. But the work he did (a crown and 2 cavities) went so smoothly and quickly. He saved a tooth from extraction and caught a cavity two other dentists missed completely. I highly recommend this group. Even while the team was working together, there is a strong sense of camaraderie and relaxation throughout the office. After all the restoration was completed, he took the time to show me the "before" (the extent of the cavities) and "after" (beautiful new teeth) images, explaining clearly the work he'd done. So impressed with this group. And he's the first dentist that didn't have to numb half my face to get good anesthesia. Thanks, Dr. Murray!

My normal dental hygienist was out today so Dr. McKinley stepped up and not only did my typical exam but also did the cleaning. He did a wonderful job and his attention to detail (taking pictures, explaining what he’s doing as he’s doing in, showing me images of the problem areas in my mouth, etc) was fantastic! The front office staff is wonderful, the office is technologically advanced and I’d highly recommend using VFD and working with Dr. McKinley!
