This place has really changed my life. I appreciate everything they do so much. I had an eating disorder for so many years and when I was in the first steps of recovery the biggest effect of it was my oral health. I neglected it severly due to mental illness. When I went to another dentist who I won't disclose, after turning too old for my insurance to cover cavity fillings, I got a consult at that office where they rudely and blatantly accused me of being a drug addict. I was ostrasized, I was given lower doses of pain meds and they were extremely rough on my mouth. It was traumatic and the work the rude dentist did, didn't last. It actually hurt my recovery more because I felt like no matter what I did, I'd never have good oral hygenine again and that all my teeth would rot out. Luckily, mom's are always right, and I got a second opinion at this office. Instead of shaming me, ostrasizing me and treating me like a second class citizen, they treated me with kindness and compassion. They showed me I had decalcification, and they saw I was trying! Just hearing that, and being treated with kindness made me view my oral health completely different. They were so gentle! I was so afraid and scared honestly, from so many bad past experiences. They kept a professional environment, made sure I was comfortable and at ease like no other dentist has. I'll be coming here for a long time. I am so pleased to be able to eat without pain and do so in a healthy way now! I can't thank them enough.
