Dentists of Carson City

Not a big fan of needles near my teeth or other men's fingers in my mouth, but I gotta say, this dentist and his crew sure are gentle. Very polite and conversational.

Met with two of the dentists, both were ok. The dental hygienist recommended I put water in my baby's bottle to help her teeth develope (even after I told her I breastfeed). This is dangerous advice, babies under 6 months old should not have any water! Also breastfeeding, even to sleep, does not cause cavities. You can look up the research that proves this. Using a damp cloth on babies gums is a much safer option. Please do not take this hygienist's advice!

Great experience. They were super accommodating when I had to reschedule last minute. The doctors are very nice and explain things very well.

Horrible experience with the lack of care received. Went in due to a cracked tooth. Dentist said he felt confident he could pull the tooth with no problem. He ended up breaking to root off in my sinus cavity and had to schedule me for oral surgeon to remove almost a week later. Once surgeon completed the removal I was scheduled for a check up one week later. In the meantime I developed an abscess and my whole face swelled. The day of my appointment the office called and said they needed to reschedule my 2:15 appointment for the next day at 2pm. Later that day I received another call from the office that they needed to reschedule my appointment because the office was going to close early and would not reopen until the following a Monday. I explained that they had already rescheduled my appointment and reminded them that I was in extreme pain from the abscess and there was no way I could wait till Monday. She said there was nothing she could do. I asked to have the manager contact me and never heard another word from them. Not the manager, or the clerk.

I would never recommend this provider to anyone. Their lack of care, concern and follow up was absolutely not what you would expect in a professional environment.

I’ve been coming to Dentists of Carson City since 2017 and thought I’d share with everyone what a great dental office this is! Every time I come in for my check ups I have a great experience and I appreciate that Rayleen and Dr Ross always make me feel at ease. The whole team there is great!

Had a bit of an emergency and they were able to see me the same day and take care of the situation. Very professional and clean, I am not a fan of dentists, but will be back.

Got my appointment mixed up and thought it was the following week. Been busy with work and a death of a friend. When I called to reschedule and apologize I got the third degree. When I went there for the first time they were amazing and now it seems they got a bunch of new people who are rude. Plus she said I needed new x-rays!?!? I just got x-rays 6 months ago!!!!

TLDR, I wouldn’t recommend any other dentist except Dentists of Carson City!

I’ve been a 2 year + patient with Matt Ross. He is the most personable professional I’ve come in contact with in the medical field. He takes care of both my orthodontics and basic dentistry needs. Someone who will give it to you straight, and not recommend anything that wouldn’t be beneficial to you.

The Dentists of Carson City staff is amazing as well. Paige, Raylene, and Alyssa are a pleasure and the absolute best to deal with. I know I’m missing a couple of names and I apologize, but you all know you’re rockstars.

If you want to switch to an office with the knowledge, new Dentistry methods/technology, and top notch customer service, this is the office for you. I live in the Minden/Gardnerville area and have no problem driving 30 minutes to an appointment because they are that good.

The team is great! The front office is extremely nice and knowledgeable about insurance and finances. The doctor and hygienist both took their time to explain everything step by step I really appreciate that they took the time to answer any questions and explain what the treatment plan was to me. This is definitely a dental office I would recommend to my friends and family!

This is the first time I've been to this place and I am not disappointed. I came in and only had to wait a few minutes to be seen. Xrays only take a couple of minutes and then I was able to see the dentist not much longer after that. Everyone is very nice and polite and I really felt taken care of. They answered any question I had and was able to get me another appointment a few hours later in the same day which was really awesome. This is definitely my new go to dentist office.
