Z dentistry

My wife and I first came to Z Dentistry in August 2020. They were able to get us in quickly and were taking precautions for COVID-19. Now they have implemented new features to combat transmission and we are very happy with the service. Dr. Zatarain has been wonderful and all the staff are kind and helpful during our visits. We are going to continue to use Dr. Z for our dentistry needs.

Dr. Z is so wonderful, knowledgeable, sincere, and polite! He makes you feel like you are the most important person in there. He also makes what some may seem as an uncomfortable situation, going to a dentist, a very pleasant experience!!
His staff is also very friendly and helpful. They really make you feel important and that they care. I definitely appreciate them all!
I've been going to him for years and I highly recommend him to anyone who's looking for a dentist.

I have been seeing Dr. Z for 15 or more years. He is one of the best in Reno. He never does work in your mouth that you do not need, and will try his best to make you comfortable in the chair, and help you with any decisions needed for care. For instance, their was a brief period of time I was not covered by insurance and had gone to see another provider who told me I had several cavities (I chose to get two fillings done and wait on getting the rest fixed). After receiving new insurance, I went back to Dr. Z who only found one small flossing cavity, which he said we could monitor and treat with fluoride. I was about to pay this other dentist for cavities that didn't even exist! Dr Z and his staff are friendly and the office is always clean. I highly recommend.

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. Read the reviews, everybody refers this place for a reason, they are the best, hands down, no questions asked.

I just got work done. Dr. Z saved me from having to get a root canal. My procedure was technical and he was so courteous from start to finish. I have a healthy fear for dentistry but Dr. Z really is a game changer. His lounge has a message chair. He offers snacks and drinks and never lets you be in discomfort. The whole team at Z Dentistry embodies the same devotion to your comfort and care as Dr. Z does. Everybody is super nice, flexible, and good.

Before my procedure, the billing team went through the different costs so I knew everything before agreeing to the procedure. It was so nice to know everything up front and to know that I am in great hands.

Most professional but very caring and personable at the same time. Jessica treats you like you’re really special, answers all your questions and gives you pointers on how to improve your dental care.

Last week's cleaning (+ X-Ray for Carol) was a dental pleasure for us both.

Good to see Dr. Z in person, & really like having both our dental appointments on the same day/same times. We are happy to have our January appts. also set up that way!

I had my dental hygiene appointment on Wednesday. It was a great experience. I am always treated with kindness, gentleness and professional care when I come to Z Dentistry. I am 67 and my experiences with other dentists have not always been fun or stressless. But with Z dentistry I have been quite impressed and overly happy with my treatment and care. I left feeling great and the hygienist was fabulous. She was great about reminding me what I needed to do better, but didn't make me feel like a total idiot because I "can do better". I look forward to my next appt. and cannot recommend Z Dentistry highly enough. Thanks for taking grrrrreat care of this old lady!!

I have been going to Z dentistry for 12 years. I’m very happy with Dr. Zatarain, he has always been very nice and professional and has made me feel valued. His staff is a mirror image of himself, friendly, curious and professional.

I’m still very pleased with Dr. Zatarain and his staff. The staff is always friendly and courteous, it’s a pleasure to interact with them. Dr. Zatarain takes time to explain he’s thoughts and plans for treatment and continues to keep me informed throughout the process.

This dentist is the best one I've ever had in my life! He is the most kind and professional dentist I've ever experienced. His office is clean and modern,and his staff is great. I especially like Joan at the front desk.

The pleasant and, dare I say it, pleasurable experience. I have been going to Dr. Z for a number of years and have been remiss in singing his and his staff's praises. Gentle and highly communicative doesn't quite capture their best-of-class patient care. To a person, the office makes you feel like you are their only concern. If you are dental phobic, fear not more. You will literally be in great hands with Dr. Z and his team!
