I have had a fear of the dentist for years, but the entire process of working with My Dentist put me at ease. From the time I made my appointment, the friendly staff treated me with care and respect. During procedures Dr. Kourakin is compassionate, as he always takes my anxiety into consideration.
And he certainly stayed true to his word when keeping my experience pain free. As long as I have my teeth. Dr. Kourakin is My Dentist!!

Driving from PA for a job interview in south Jersey left me at a loss when I wanted to address a pretty bad-looking front tooth. It needed to be filed down since its 'badness' means that it continues to lengthen. Just before leaving PA for Jersey, I contacted MY DENTIST and got an appointment scheduled before the interview. Amazing...I had never been there before and was in a hurry, yet they treated me like an old friend! They were so accommodating!! And also very patient (like the saints) when I got lost on my way to the office. Thank you Shelly!!! Once there, they took me in within minutes. Then I met Dr. K. Wow. What a breath of fresh air! He is friendly, genuine, open, and truly wants to make folks feel comfortable. He knew my goal was to tweak my smile for the interview, albeit temporarily and on a budget. He did that... and MORE! He not only filed the tooth for me but also disguised the space it created. What a magician! I went to the interview with confidence... and got the job! These Millville folks helped an out-of-stater feel welcome and supported!! I can't recommend them 'loud enough.'

Best dentist, EVER! I never feel any pain when I go. Dr. Kourakin gives the BEST needles. You don’t even feel the slightest pinch. Highly recommended. Staff is always very friendly as well. I actually look forward to dentist appointments!

This office is amazing. I have had a fear of dentists for as long as I can remember. They took the time to talk to me about my fears and come up with a plan to make me feel comfortable. My dental hygienist, Amanda, is constantly checking in on how I’m feeling and keeping me calm. They make sure not to make me feel bad about the areas I lack in. I’m having very little experience with dental insurance, the billing professional has done a fantastic job of spelling out the process and helping me make decisions moving forward. I highly recommend this team to anyone new to the area or looking to make a change, especially if you have fear or anxiety about dentists.

To top off my last appointment, they offered me a new procedure called a LiPro treatment. It made my lips so soft and smooth and I haven’t picked my lips in over a week! (Probably a new record) I will definitely be buying the kit and doing it regularly at home.
I actually can’t wait for my next cleaning!
