Dr. Giaquinto drilled a filling of mine too deep causing EXTREME pain that required me to have an emergency root canal and ultimately lose the tooth. This happened a few years ago:
A few weeks after getting a filling from Dr. Giaquntio, I called his office to tell them it the tooth was hurting very badly, and it took a week to even get an appt for it, even though I was experiencing extreme pain from his own shoddy work. I waited that long for an appointment in agony, and instead of doing the root canal on spot when he looked at it, he scheduled me for a separate appointment to perform the root canal five days later. I waited two more days, and called them telling them I couldn't take the pain anymore. They told me to keep taking the pain pills and antibiotics he had prescribed, but even with those it was so bad I had to get an emergency root canal done by another office, who saw me and performed the emergency root canal WITHIN AN HOUR OF MY CALLING THEM FOR THE FIRST TIME!
It turns out Dr. Gioquntio had done such a poor job that even the root canal could not save the tooth, making me ultimately lose it. AND Dr. Gioquinto ultimately stuck me with the bill rather than waiving it for his shoddy workmanship. I learned later he could have simply referred me to an endodontist--a dentist who only does root canals--at the very onset, and there are plenty of them who could have seen me right away. Likely he did not do this or even mention it because he wanted to keep it in house, so another dentist wouldn't see his terrible work. STAY AWAY from this office!
