Very impressed with this dental office! Busy place, however they do everything professionally and efficiently. My third time there today. Very good communication skills with scheduling and phone calls for follow up appointments.
At my dental cleaning, the dentist himself did the cleaning which was unusual, however, I felt like I was being given the royal treatment!
If you have any doubts about where to go, or because of this location, don't let that stop you! I am happy and very pleased with all of the staff and dentist so far!

Office Staff answer phone quickly & seem to be on top of things; well-organized and friendly. Dental Assistants are courteous & professional. I especially like my dentist, Dr. Kadomony, who has a calming presence & explains procedures & options very clearly. Great location, too, on Central a block and a half east of San Mateo.

Staff very friendly and worked hard to keep it a positive experience. Unfortunately, I felt awkward at all 3 visits, like I need to get the hell out ASAP. But I was committed after pre-paying a few 1000s on dental expenses. It's done, happy with the new porcelain bridge. I have follow up care at another dental office.

Having a son with PTSD in itself is something I would never wish on any parent. The employees at the wonderful establishment set the tone to be able to help my son in every facit of his care. They were so kind and welcoming to him, made him feel comfortable and made sure the procedures were done in a compassionate and caring manner. If there was any issues afterwards, they without a doubt made time to see him. Dr. Moreno and his assistant " Mama Bear" always made sure he was doing well. The front staff was also very welcoming, caring, and made sure that everything went through as smooth as possible. Try the place out, I guarantee you will love it.

I would absolutely NOT go to this dentist office, especially with your children. It's supposed to be "child friendly" and it is farrrrr from it. The children's "waiting area" is a completely separate room... Extremely small with TWO seats and a ghetto version of a mini McDonald's play place in it. With video games that don't work. My biggest issues were though aside from it not being child friendly... (You know, nothing fun on the walls or a fish tank.. just fun things for kids or babies) the dentist was horrible. As we were waiting in the back for the dentist to come in, there's a man next door getting a tooth extraction and is in pain and moaning and the dentist kept telling him if he "doesn't keep the noise down then they were just going to have to stop and send him home. And to stop with the noise". Just completely unprofessional and unempathetic. He came in and saw my 11 month old... Was not friendly towards him at all. Then he poked my baby's him with that poker they use and made him bleed. Just an awful experience. NEVER going back.
Oh, did I mention all the homeless people in the parking lot and people coming into the waiting room asking to use the phone? 🤦 Wasn't going to leave a review but they asked me to so.... There it is. Rant over

My son and I both go to Family Smiles. It's a good place to go for the whole family. The dentist does an amazing job! Everyone is very friendly and it's a nice clean place to go.

Went in for my regular cleaning, waited more than an hour to see the dentist. The dentist didn't even check inside my mouth, told the assistant to start the cleaning process. It felt like she just got the cleaning paste and rubbed it without any precision. She didn't even floss or scrape the build up on my teeth. Worst experience of my life.

The doctor here is very careless and rude . As for the tech she's amazing actually cared and did best to help. Doc should be in different line of business
