Dr Thompson is good and thorough. He also is nice enough to take a little teasing. Old enough to be his grandmother probably, I shook my finger at him and told him I didn't want any problems when he started to check my teeth. He laughed and said he would try. I told him that wasn't good enough. He didn't find any problems so we were both happy. Staff is friendly and my teeth felt clean after the cleaning which hasn't always been the case here in Las Cruces.

I had 7 cavities. They fixed two and left the rest to rot. When I went back to fix them and they said it was “normal”. Useless. And no I will not reveal my real name, Dr. Gilbert will do a much better job.

As lots of people, I have dental phobia. That's a real thing, right? :) It had been years and years since I'd been to the dentist, precisely because of my fear of them. But from the first visit at Hillrise Dental, Michelle got me a weighted blanket to comfort me while Carmen cleaned my teeth. Carmen was so nice and kept checking to see how I was doing. It was a pleasant visit. Today I had some fillings and the procedure was explained to me really well and then the work was done. I felt anxious when I got there, but Dr. Thompson and his assistant made me feel at ease. I would highly recommend Dr. Thompson and Hillrise Dental to anyone who is afraid of the dentist. You'll feel better about returning to the dentist after your first visit. If I can do it, so can you!
