The best dentist in the high planes. I was terrified of going because of previous dentist (famila dental) all ways hurt my teeth more than fixing them. I strongly recommend Thompson dentistry. The staff was amazing and really gentle as well.

There is a friendly compassionate staff who work together like a family, the service is exemplary, equipment is state-of-the-art and I always receive excellent dental care from Dr. Thompson. Darby is a caring and thorough hygienist, and very friendly. Delilah is a fantastic addition to the practice, and the office just wouldn’t be right without Christy at the helm. I’m thankful for this caring practice in my little cowtown of Portales.

I first heard of Dr Thompson on an advertisement on the radio a long time ago. The idea of being sedated for dental work if I ever needed to was what caught my attention. Well, now I’ve been going to them for a few years now, and am so thankful I decided to make that initial appointment. First, I had to have crowns put on all my molars because of old wore out fillings I had when I was young. Loved waking up, and it was all done and no pain! The professionalism and friendliness of the whole team is outstanding! I now have been seeing them often for a teeth straightening process and then for cleanings. Every visit is like visiting friends. I couldn’t be happier with the results! Did I mention I don’t live near Portales, and I drive 115 miles one way~well worth the trip!!!

Amazing environment! The amazing assistants/hygienist and of course Dr. Thompson is absolutely amazing! In the almost 4 years since I’ve been going I’ve always felt like we were one bigggg family! I just started my visits with them, but so far they have made me feel comfortable and they are not judgmental at all which really makes it feel like a good surrounding and safe. I love how they give you a tour and explain everything in detail with you and actually have a good conversation with you. I can actually say I look forward to continuing my visits to them and seeing the progress they have planned for me to feel better and confident with my teeth and hopefully soon with my smile.

Highly recommend Dr Thompson, I have had several issues with my teeth. I am anxious about going to the Dentist, very inviting environment and staff make me feel so much better. Clean office, very happy they sanitize what they touch in the room, professional and friendly. The Dr is super nice and humble. Tooth aches are miserable and they care. I have been going to Dr. Thompson for several years and sad to say this is probably my first review. But driving from Hobbs to Portales for years will be a good indication of how much I prefer Dr. Thompson and his staff to going anywhere else.
I have always had anxiety about going to the dentist but Dr. Thompson and his staff make it so much better. That is a big deal to me.
I have recommended them to a lot of friends and family and they all agree!
