Divine Dental of Santa Fe

I will never recommend this office. This rating should be a zero. Appointment was for a cleaning (new patient) and told would get a cleaning same day. Two hour wait, then bored, unfriendly, dental 'tech' took on hour to do analysis (xrays and look at gum line) and get dentist to review. Dentist said all looked good - for her to do cleaning. Tech back and forth for 20 minutes then came back and said had to recheck and proceeded to stab at gums and pry at a crown and an old filling. When I told her to stop as she was hurting me and dentist had already instructed her to do the cleaning she stated I would have to come back as I needed peridontal care, would require a deep cleaning as my gums were weak (she caused them to bleed) and she was willing at the time to help me set up extensive dental work based on my xrays (I asked to see and explain the xrays and I was denied). The tech also said she needed a new set of xrays right away (I declined as she had just done them within the hour). The xrays the dentist saw sitting in front of me did not show any problems. When the dentist came back over (at my insistence) he if she wanted me to come back later, he was okay with that (he had already done his exam and approved regular cleaning). Three and a half hours later and final discussion with and comment from the long-time office manager that how they do things, I walked out without any service and will not be back. I also informed my dental insurance and they stated they had other complaints before. Take your dental health care elsewhere!

They are not serious enough about their business! While I very much liked the dentists and hygienists, the practice itself is very disorganized. I arrived there twice for my cleaning appointment at 7:30am and I was told I wasn't on the schedule - even though I received an appointment reminder by e-mail (which I showed them) and I called them to confirm I would be there. The worse part is that they took ZERO accountability for what happened and even tried to push on me by questioning who did I spoke with when I called, as if I was lying about having confirmed the appointment. Also, I was advised to get a crown and the fit was terrible, causing a lot of pain. I went back there 2x to get it adjusted and I was charged every time (for a 10-15min appointment) even though I was told I would not be charged because it was to fix the fitting of the crown. The awful review is not a representation of the dentists' and hygienist's service. It is 100% about their terrible business model, disorganization and lack of accountability.

I want to compliment Tabitha Martinez for such a great job. Very professional and a great attitude. Any place can always use great people like her! Best place I've ever been to for dentistry work. Dr. Ismael Valdez is the the best dentist in my opinion.

Dr. Valdez and his staff have once again more than met my expectations on the delivery of my new crown.
The quality of products and services has to be ranked as the best in Santa Fe!
I always recommend Dr. Valdez when the opportunity arises, and will continue to regard Dr. Valdez my valued dentist and good friend!

These guys saved me after two years of horrible tooth pain.

Two years ago I went to Comfort Dental and they gave me a filling that caused me so much pain I couldn't eat on the left side of my mouth. I went back to Comfort and got the filling redone, but nothing changed. Later that year I moved to Albuquerque and went to a dentist office there, only for the staff to shrug. They couldn't tell what was wrong. Eventually I moved back to Santa Fe and went to ANOTHER dentist. The dentist shaved down and fortified my filling...which once again, did nothing for my pain. At that point I'd been chewing exclusively on the right side of my mouth for nearly two years. I finally threw up my hands and decided to go outside my insurance network, hence my trip to Divine Dental.

These guys were IMMEDIATELY able to pinpoint my problem when none of the other dentists could. They gave me a crown for my problem tooth and the pain has been on a steady decline ever since. A couple weeks ago I was able to chew on the left side of my mouth again with NO PAIN for the first time in two years.

I really owe these guys so much. You can do a ton of damage to your teeth over time by only chewing on one side of your mouth, and that's not to mention the pain whenever I accidentally shifted some food over to my bad side. It's such a relief not to have to worry anymore.

I hope they accept Presbyterian insurance someday so I can afford to see them outside of medical emergencies. Highly recommend their services to anyone.

A super shout-out to Dr. Valdez and the staff of Divine Dental here in Santa Fe! I've had several appointments with them. Dr. Valdez is experienced, efficient, and personable, as are his staff members.

Having two crown preps this morning, when an adjacent (different) crown came loose this afternoon, I called, and Super Hero Kim brought me right in and re-cemented it.

I very much recommend this dentistry practice.

No hesitation in giving them 5 stars! I was a little nervous going to the dentist after ten years but everyone was friendly and professional. I felt well taken care of and have had a very positive experience with the dentist and the staff. I was welcomed immediately with a smile and tour of the office and they were able to get me in quickly for my appointments. Highly recommend!!!

These guys are the absolute best! Im traveling and while in Santa Fe my crown came off while eating. First they got me in on the same day I called. They were so friendly and helpful. Sonya was so nice and helpful. Then Georgette got me settled in the dentist chair and took care of all the preliminaries. She was very kind was genuinely interested in my wellbeing as a person. Dr. Valdez was also very friendly and professional. He took care of the crown and talked to me about future care. I honestly felt like I had been a patient with this office for years rather than a walk in appt. I felt like I was among friends. If I lived in Sata Fe this is where I would receive my dental care. I cannot reccomend Divine Dental enough!

I was blown away by the professionalism of the staff- from the front desk, dental hygienists and dentists from day 1. I moved to this community a year ago and was so blessed to have found this place. They made me feel so comfortable- very helpful, attentive and knowledgeable with the newest technology and treatment. I was so impressed, my entire family comes here now and their experiences have been the same. Thank you for all that you do for our dental health- our smiles say it all!!!

My experience at this office exceeded my expectations. From the staff to the dentist they were all professional and polite and I will recommend everyone who needs dental work to try doctor Valdez.
