I walked in this practice on a whim just to get an idea of a price for a bridge of 4 lower plus the 2 anchors, as my dentist seemed awfully expensive. I did not even have an appointment, Dr. Ryals agreed to see me. I left there with a temporary, which my dentist did not supply without an up-charge and 2 weeks later I had the permanent bridge at a fraction of the cost I had been quoted from Albuquerque to Taos. Great staff and great professional treatment. The bridge looks great and functions perfectly.

I generally have anxiety about going to the dentist because of a previous bad experience. I went in to SF Modern Dentistry as a new patient for a check-up and cleaning. EVERYBODY there was pleasant and helpful. Modern Dentistry is an extremely appropriate name, all the equipment was fast and modern. Their procedures are well coordinated and I left feeling well taken care of with zero anxiety! It was actually a pleasant experience and I am definitely going back. Highly recommend.

At my first scheduled appointment I waited 45 minutes before they would see me. I understand busy times so I scheduled a follow up appointment. Due to another appointment, I called as a courtesy to let them know I would be 5 minutes late (I was five minutes from the office but didn’t want them to think I was a no show), to which they responded that they would have to reschedule me. The individual was very rude and unhelpful. I was disappointed because I had given them the benefit of the doubt my first appointment. After argument they said they would see me. I walked in to the office and notice the girls who sit in the back with computers were braiding each other’s hair. Normally this wouldn’t bother me, but after argument that they were too busy to see me I was super annoyed they weren’t too busy to do each other’s hair.

Horrible customer service. I went in and had a tooth pulled. The dentist had a hard time getting the tooth out. I was sent home without after care instructions no pain killers or antibiotics. I had to return 3 more times because of an infection and still had to pay another hundred dollars. The dentist must have earned his degree online!!!

Just had my first visit to SF Modern Dentistry on Zafarano. Friendly, caring staff in up-to-date facility with specialtists on demand. Made me feel as if I was the only patient they had and understood my budget priorities and this was just the cleaning and evaluation of dental plan. " Pleasant" experience...not a word I would have normally associated with a dental visit!

I had to make an appointment due to an emergency And didn't have to wait forever to be seen and get rid of the pain. The staff is amazing, very friendly and professional they work with you and your financial situations (Ashley is the best). Would recommend Modern Dentistry to anyone looking for a new dentist.

Don't fall for the $59 cleaning and x-rays. I went in a awhile back because I didn't have dental insurance and I was told my teeth were so bad that I needed the $800 + cleaning and had to sign a waiver that they were not liable because I refused. I told my longtime dentist what they told me and they told me that my teeth are fine.
