I always try to be aware, and understand that Dr's are just people, most people will just get in line and do whatever a Dr says, like it's the final word, Dr's are fallible just as anyone else, sometimes more so because of more responsibility, so always pay attention and do your research. We are our own best advocates.

Because of the ladies I dealt with before the "doctor" ill give some sort of feedback. They were great. Very empathetic and understanding.
I have an emergency. And perio. I made the appointment bc im in severe pain. Broken teeth. One really needs to come out so I can eat. They took some x-rays, sat me in a chair and said they'd be right back (I drove 35 minutes for this appointment) I'm waiting and someone I haven't seen yet walks in. I assume it's one of the assistants. This woman looks at me and says kind of rudely " who are you " and points to the computer appointment screen.. I said my name. She replies with "oh. Did we give you an xray !?" Yes I said. She fumbles with the computer and walks away.
The sweetest dental assistant comes in and said did the doctor see you? I said nope.. not that I'm aware of.
Apparently this woman was DR LEE. I had no idea. No bedside manner,, no introduction or hello.. I felt rushed and treated as if this doctor just wanted to get me out. It was 4 pm.
No extraction. Im home in pain. Antibiotics and ibuprofen for several more days of a miserable time. Because they have another doctor ill go back and get a second opinion from her. Im praying she can help me. Its so difficult to get a dentist who will LISTEN to a patient without preexisting notions. Ive been through it all with dentistry. I know what's best for me. Finger crossed for the next appointment.

My new dental implants look incredible and I have a doctor Marina Sharga at Albany Dental to thank for it. He was so thorough but so engaged the entire time. Asked about my family and remember everything I said in my follow up visit. That kind of personal service is not typical for a dental surgeon believe me. The whole thing was relatively affordable to and I am very pleased with the whole situation.

To start with , my first phone call . We are new to the area and had yet to find a new dentist . But my son was having a dental issue . The receptionist was so nice , and got my son in in less than 48 hours .
We went to the appt , the staff was beyond nice . The wait time was non existent. Very laid back . Explained the details of my sons teeth so thoroughly . Made us feel comfortable enough that I made future appts for the rest of the family so they can be our regular family dentist . Also we ended up being about 30 minutes early for our appt and we still were taken back almost immediately. I highly recommend Albany dental associates.
