Then I met the dentist. Now you would think I’m a dentist dream. When I open my mouth there’s a plethora of work that needs to be done. A small fortune to be made. Yet , I walked out with an X-ray and a referral to some other dentist and a promise of a prescription that never materialized.

I went in for my dental cleaning an hour earlier than it was scheduled for not remembering the actual time. The hygienist was so kind to push her lunch break back a half an hour to accommodate me so I didn’t have to wait for my scheduled time. I highly recommend Queensbury First advantage dental and I’m very pleased.

I usually have good experiences with 1st Advantage. This is the first time that I have had a complaint and it is serious.
I had a tooth that had a crack in it repaired last March. The work was really good. About a month ago the filling on my front tooth chipped out. It left a jagged indention on my tooth. I called to see if I would have to pay again to have it fixed. They said no and scheduled me an appointment for November 30. I told the doctor what had happened and that I would like it fixed. She said that it was not chipped but excess material on the tooth. I told her that it was not excess material and that it had the indentation. She said that she would fix the indentation. I told her I wanted it fixed like before. When I got in my car, she had filed the tooth smooth and now the tooth has a point at the top instead of rounded top like the other tooth.
I have an appointment tomorrow for another doctor to look at it. I am hoping that he will be able to fix it. After I get my tooth fixed, I will switch to another 1st advantage in Saratoga or find another dentist. Queensbury has always been good before but I don't want to feel like I have to object to treatment by a certain person.
