Dr. Shapiro and his staff are some of the kindest people that I have ever encountered. Before being treated by Dr. Shapiro I went to several other dentists and was told that I was not a candidate for Invisalign and that I would have to look into metal braces. This would always leave me very frustrated and unwilling to take the next step into fixing my smile. On a whim I went online and read some reviews and came across Dr. Shapiro, after reading up on him and doing some research I was sold and made an appointment. From my first consultation to my last day of Invisalign it has been nothing but an amazing and painless experience. In 4 short months Dr. Shapiro was able to do the impossible, I am so grateful and happy with my results!! I can not recommend him and his amazing staff enough, if I could give them 10 stars I would!

My experience with Dr. Shapiro goes back 18 years, before I moved to NC. I suffer from extreme dentalphobia and never had a dentist who was as patient, kind, gentle and caring as Dr. Shapiro. When I moved back to NY, I immediately looked for him. Sadly, he isnt on my insurance, so I am still looking for someone comparable with no luck. Having a toothache this week made it glaringly obvious that he may be one of a kind. I never forgot his kindness and I hope to be able to go back someday soon!!!!

I did like Dr Shapiro and I believe he is very knowledgeable; however,
I have 2 issues with my visit.
The first being their free consultation is not free, as they claim, the second is the office told me they take my insurance, yet they really do not, you have to pay them and they will send in the claim to the insurance company ( this is different than accepting my insurance)
These items let me with a feeling that they are not completely forth right and are driven mostly by the $$

I have gone to Dr. Shapiro for 32 years and I take my 3 children to him as well. He is very knowledgeable and caring. His entire staff is very patient. My kids get excited when I tell them we are going to the dentist! I will never go anywhere else.

The hygienist was knowledgable and gentle,
Dr. Mitchell Shapiro came in to review my case, ordered Xrays and consulted Dr. Keith Fisher was is working on my Implant surgery.
As usual all went smoothly.

Dr. Shapiro is the man. I first visited about 2 years ago, and was very impressed with his new patient onboarding. The staff runs the office like a well oiled machine, and his initial presentation to his new patients is really special. He invited me into his office, and we sat at his desk for about 15 minutes talking about my dental history, and why I was visiting him for the first time. The special thing about Dr. S is that he truly cares about your health, both dental, and overall. He took the time to explain how god dental health can prevent serious health matters such as heart disease, migraine headaches (TMJ related) etc. Long story short, his work is superb, his approach is caring, and gentle, and his office is one of the most professional and courteous you will find. Highly recommend!

Well I really wanted to wait to give a review nothing really was happening .I wore my invisiline saw Dr Shapiro once a month it was going smoothly . really nothing to report other then nice clean and safe office and atmosphere.everyone friendly and respectful. But today I pointed out a couple of concerns I had and Dr Shapiro took care of the the issue right there and then I didn’t have to snake another oppointment . He wants me to be more then happy with the end result

I have been a patient of Dr. Shapiro for over 20 years starting when I was a kid. There is something so different about Dr. Shapiro’s approach and the atmosphere that comes from him and his staff. Everyone there is extremely kind, and the office is very calm. Its hard to find someone that is so focused on their patients that they go great lengths to ensure comfort. He has come in on his day off to help me with an emergency and has never made me feel that any dental issue I had was bothersome. My insurance changed a few years back and Dr. Shapiro doesn’t accept my plan any longer. I tried another dentist ONCE, BIG MISTAKE. I now pay out of pocket just to keep using him, thats how important I feel his service is. So many dentists only do what insurance covers which may not be a quality job or use quality materials. ALL DOCTORS ARE NOT CREATED EQUAL. Dr. Shapiro is an example of that. He uses only the best materials and the latest technology. Don’t believe me, give him a try? You will believe what I just said by the time you leave. Seriously, the guy is so in love with his craft that he oozes it. You can tell that he gets so much satisfaction from doing the highest quality work. And because its you that really benefits from all of that, I continue to use Dr. Shapiro’s office.
