Skyview Dentistry

I am someone how HATES going to the dentist BUT Dr. Byrd and her associates have changed that for me! Everyone who works at Skyview has such positive energy and Dr. Byrd is AMAZING! I had a bridge that was installed in my mouth back in 2002 (18 years ago) while living in California, the bridge was starting to give me issues (the porcelain worn off and the metal part of the bridge was exposed and rubbing against my other teeth). I made the appointment with Dr. Byrd's office for my initial consultation and to my surprise she was able to remove the old bridge the same day AND install a temporary bridge until my permanent bridge arrives.

While Dr. Byrd was removing the old bridge I was watching Netflix in a massage chair! I was so relaxed at the dentist office of all places!!!! This was the BEST experience I have EVER had while visiting a dentist office! Dr. Byrd and her dental assistant are very knowledgeable and informed me of all of my options for teeth replacement.

I still need to have dental fillings but due to being nervous at previous dental appointments (before my experience with Dr. Byrd) I have been putting the procedure off. Needless to say that once I have my permanent bridge installed, I am going schedule my appointment with Dr. Byrd for my teeth fillings as well.

This is hands down the BEST dentist office EVER!

Dr. Byrd and her staff are phenomenal! They make going to the dentist a very pleasant experience! Dr. Byrd does great work and makes sure you are comfortable every step of the way! In addition to the extremely friendly staff, you get to wear groovy sunglasses, lay in a massage chair and watch Netflix while getting your dental work done. I highly recommend Skyview Dentistry and Dr. Byrd! Check them out!

For as long as I can remember, I’ve always hated my smile. The gaps, spacing and overall color of my teeth were hideous. 4 months ago, I decided to visit Skyview Dentistry to see if we could fix my smile. Not only did they work around my busy schedule but they also managed to fix every aspect of my smile that I had previously hated. I can’t thank Dr. Bird, Gina and the rest of the staff enough for their help over these last several months. They made me feel like a new man and I would absolutely recommend their work to anyone who might feel self conscious about their teeth as well.

Had a great experience with Skyview Dentistry and Jennifer D'Silva, DDS. I had not been to the dentist in about 10 years and after visiting Skyview dentistry I feel very silly - Even with having a bit of oral surgery on my first visit I felt comfortable, informed, and I didn't feel a thing! Great team here at Skyview. QUICK TIP - be sure to bring your parking ticket, they validate and the epicenter parking rates are atrocious! Would highly recommend Jennifer D'Silva, DDS and the team at Skyview!

Dr. Byrd and her staff are amazing! Lets face it, no one likes going to the dentist but from the minute you arrive to the office to the time you leave everyone is professional, friendly and makes you feel comfortable. From the free teeth whitening, the Solea Laser (I never want to get my teeth filled without this again!) and the overall ambiance of this office, I never want to go anywhere else! Thank you!!

First visit was amazing!! Skyview makes you feel at home with the massage chair and Netflix while you get your teeth cleaned and the view of Uptown Charlotte and Epicenter.. I forgot I was getting my teeth cleaned because I was so relaxed!!! Very convenient location especially if you live uptown....I walked to the appointment and went on a Saturday morning so didn't have to miss work either..the convenience and flexibility of time are even more advantages!!!

This office is absolutely amazing and changed my perspective about going to the dentist!!! Dr. Byrd and Dr. Bunn are amazing! Everything from the professionalism within the office with a the feeling that you are a part of their family meant the most. I would highly recommend this office to anyone that needs dental work. Everyone within the staff from the front office and in the back office were very professional and very prompt and put the clients needs first. Out of all the offices in Charlotte, they are the best! The directions to the office were very clear and I had no issue finding the office. If google, could give me an option to rate Skyview Dentistry, I would give them 10 stars! I do not know how anyone would give this place any less of a rating of 5 stars, have they not been to another office like this? I will definitely be back!

The times I've been able to visit r good. The only reason im rating a 1 is because of the 100.00 fee you are charged if u dont cancel the appointment within 48 hours. Dont leave a vm either, because apparently they dont EVER get the vm's. I mean honestly, if a person dont show, its not worth a 100.00 charge being applied to acct. Let alone sending it to collection agencies and now your credit is effected. 100.00 is A RIDICULOUS CHARGE

I recently had my first appointment with Skyview and it was great. I never thought I would say that I enjoyed going to the dentist, but this came pretty close. Everyone (from the front desk to the hygienist to the dentist) were very friendly. The cleaning was much more enjoyable since you get to lay in a massage chair and watch any tv show or movie on Netflix. Definitely makes the time go much quicker! Also, I was very impressed by the hygienist and dentist's thoroughness. I think I spoke more with Dr. Bunn in this one visit than I did with my previous dentist in 5 years combined. They are also very professional and very helpful with the insurance process. I would definitely recommend Skyview to anyone in the Charlotte (uptown or otherwise) area.
