Late on a Thursday evening I unfortunately cracked a tooth that became quite painful over night. Early the next morning I called my regular dentist, but they were closed until Monday. I started searching on line for other dentists, and was refused a same day appointment by the first five practices I called. My sixth call was to Green Park Dentistry, and Gigi (Green Park's scheduler) said that if I could get there by 10A they would take a look at the tooth. I wasn't expecting to get the tooth fixed that day, but rather hoped they could do something to relieve the pain and maybe give me some advice and/or a pain prescription for the weekend.
After filling out some forms I was quickly given an examination and some X-rays by a dental technician. I was then seen by Dr. Parks, who proceeded to lay out several courses of treatment. Still assuming that I was just getting some advice, I was surprised to find out that they were actually willing to do a root canal that same day and then to fit me with a temporary crown while the permanent crown was being manufactured.
By now it was 11AM, and they closed at 1PM for the day. I knew from past experience that the proposed procedure would take at least 2 hours to complete, and asked them if they thought they could really get it done. Dr. Parks was ready and willing, so I happily agreed, rather than face (at least) a weekend of pain from my damaged tooth.
Long story short, the job was finally finished at 2:45PM, and several of the staff, along with Dr. Parks had stayed overtime to help with the complicated process of rebuilding my tooth. I am extremely happy with the results, and am very impressed that they took on such a lengthy procedure, knowing full well that it probably wouldn't be completed before regular closing time on a Friday afternoon.
I was also quite impressed with the efficiency of their operation. The staff communicated throughout the office by using radio earpieces, which allowed an impressive level of multi-tasking and near instant mutual assistance when needed. Dr. Suggs, the owner of the practice even stopped by several times to offer support and advice. I felt very well cared for indeed!
I am writing this review 2 days after the procedure and I'm happy to report that I have been pain-free, with perhaps just the smallest amount of tenderness around the gums by the affected tooth. I have not needed the pain medication that Dr. Parks prescribed, and the temporary crown feels perfectly normal, while not restricting my bite at all.
Rest assured.that this practice is very well run and the competency level is top notch. The entire staff seems truly interested in the patient's welfare, and they made what could have been a very unpleasant experience quite easy.

I have been to multiple dentists in the Hickory area, and was not pleased with the work , I found Green Park Dentistry, and Dr. Suggs and all staff was great! They truly care about their patients and are the nicest and most professional staff I have ever dealt with , I am so glad to be a patient at Green Park, I will continue to go here, and recommend them to everyone I know that is looking for a good dentist. I have already sent 3 new patients there and all of them told me they was very happy with their visits there as well. I will continue to recommend them to friends and family! Kara my hygienist is great and the staff is super friendly! I've been a going here for roughly five years now and have zero complaints!

I saw the TV commercials & thought to myself " There is NO WAY the patients and staff are that happy etc. Boy was I wrong. This place was sent by the heavens & angels above! Everything is absolutely true, ABSOLUTELY REAL! I can't believe it. I just got home from my first appointment with x-rays, consultation & I even got work done and the start of a game plan for a long term dental plan and goals to fix everything. By figuring stuff out problem by problem not guessing. I had a young girl named Kayla I think, what a breath of fresh air, she was really great, professional and knowledgeable, so helpful! & Dr. Park was amazing, actually cares about you, your teeth and what factors in life are important to you and your care. I've never experienced anything like this ever! I look forward to my next dental appointment. I'm definitely really happy I found this place, dentist and their wonderful staff. Thank you for everything Dr's & ladies!!!

After going there a few times I will never go anywhere else as long as I live in NC! I had a cleaning, a composite, a crown a ton of work all great service!!! This place is the very bestest!!!

I'm happy with the work I've had done and ar a fair price. I have a dental plan in place now & the staff and Dr really do care, we're not just numbers. Please try them out, they are fantastic!

I still stand by everything I've written in my review. As you see I don't review ever bc places don't do anything special to warrant one. But these doctors, technicians, employees & please forgive me if I don't know their correct titles in the office. EVERYONE IS TOP NOTCH!
