This was my first visit to Carolinas Dentist and I am very pleased with my choice. The experience was phenomenal from the front desk, my hygienist and my doctor. Everyone was friendly, professional, efficient and made me feel welcomed and appreciated. Dr. Ham was honest, patient and very nice. I’m sad that she is leaving but I may just follow her..LOL. Julissa the hygienist was also amazing. She is friendly, caring and does an outstanding job explaining everything and was very gentle with my cleaning!! I will definitely be referring all my friends and family to this practice!!

I have to say it has been a privilege being a patient there. I've had multiple procedures and during all of them Dr. Mullen and his team went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and that the issue I was dealing with was resolved. Scheduling and billing is made easy by everyone up front, and they're always friendly and proficient. Also if you're like me and don't have dental insurance they offer a great membership program through very affordable monthly payments, it has saved me a lot of money. The quality of the dental work I've received since I've been a patient there has surpassed anything I've had anywhere else. The flat screen TV's with good movies playing during long procedures are a plus too.

I went in for my cleaning today with the beautiful Makayla and she was absolutely amazing! She makes me feel like family when I'm there. Dr. V did my exam and he was very sweet and explained everything to me. They were both so kind. Highly recommend this place.

Customer service was awesome! The doctor and assistant was awesome as well!

Very friendly staff and super clean facility. I went in for a routine cleaning: the dental hygienist was gentle but efficient on my mouth, knew exactly when to pause to give me a quick swallow break or rinse with water, and was very personable. Dr Harn was also wonderful and attentive to my oral health concerns and made some great suggestions for me! I have to come back for a procedure next week and they were able to look up what my insurance covers and were able to tell me the exact dollar amount so I know what to expect on my next visit!

Had wonderful experiences with both regular cleanings, and oral surgery to remove a wisdom tooth that was 15 years overdue. Would highly recommend this location to anyone.

I feel like the fact I no longer get anxiety leading up to my dental appointments speaks for itself. For close to five years my experience as a patient of Dr. Mullen has been top notch across the board. Everyone there is friendly and professional, you are kept comfortable, and the work is 1st rate.

This place was a favorite for a long time. There hours are amazing of course. I am giving them 3 stars because I am taking one away for them not letting me know I no longer had the same hygienist. They just switched me without asking or informing me, and Katie was truly the reason of why I brought my entire family there for appointments. Next star removed is for pricing. I got my zoom whitening done a year ago, for $399. Both the dentist and hygienist at the time told me, my final price would depend on if I could handle 3 or 4 sessions. I handled all 4 so I paid $399. I sent my husband here for a whitening (out of pure recommendation) and I wish I hadn't. He only got 3 sessions done, being that he couldn't tolerate a 4th, but paid the same price. When I called to verify, a lady named Jill had said they switched their product, so when someone opens a box it's however many the person can tolerate. I thought that was ridiculous. He paid the same amount for less whitening because of tolerance? Knowing that I am a previous client, they should of informed us of that change. I was going to schedule him another in office whitening, as well for myself, but I wont be doing so with this office. We will also be switching over all 4 of us ( my three children who attend and I) because that just didn't sit right with me. If anyone is looking for a whitening, there are surrounding offices that still only charge you for product they use! So look elsewhere before booking for a whitening here!

The staff called several times in the week leading up to our appointment to ensure that we knew we had to be there early for our appointment to fill out paperwork. We arrived at 10:20 for our 10:40 appointment. Paperwork took 5 minutes. Then we waited until 11:30 to be seen. I understand that sometimes a wait is to be expected but what’s the point in asking us to be early just to make us wait an hour?

Staff asked me if I knew my sons height and weight for the anesthesia. I said I did not. They asked me to guess, and ultimately my 9 yo son took a guess at his own height and weight and the staff went with it. This is info for a medical procedure. Maybe measure it accurately next time rather than guessing?

Nurse missed my sons IV on the first attempt. I get it, kids veins are difficult.

Nurse gave me a bag to take home where she said there would be kids Tylenol for him to take. I got home. No Tylenol. No pain meds at all. Just a bunch of dental branded schwag. Thanks for the frisbee and the sticky notes but we could really use the kids Tylenol that you said was going to be there but wasn’t.

Procedure went well. At least there’s that.

Overall not impressed with this establishment.
