I would not recommend. I have never had problems going to the dentist in the past. I decided to try a new place and I did not have a good experience. My gums were bleeding the whole time to the extent that I was swallowing blood most of the appointment, the floss was covered in blood, and the hygienists gloves had blood on them too. Comments and questions were said that insinuated I did not regularly brush my teeth or get regular checkups. I have never felt judged or embarrassed about my teeth going to the dentist until now.

It is unethical and unprofessional to discriminate and not accept medicaid. There is no good reason to not accept this type of insurance other than greed. Medical professionals all took oathes and got into this industry to help others and the choice to make services inaccessible to poor people speaks volumes.

The staff at Bismarck Family dental is absolutely amazing from the moment you walk in you're treated like a friend! I have never had a bad experience and I imagine not a lot of people can say that about their dentist! They do great work and actually care! They have treated both myself and my two kids like we're family! I would recommend them to strangers on the street! Keep it up guys!

Everyone there are friendly and very nice! They have been very patient with me paying off my bill. They even warned me when I had maxed out both of my dental insurances. Im very happy with my service and I'm so glad I found this little place after I moved to Bismarck! Which is good because I still have a lot of work left to do on my teeth :) but I can't wait to be confident in my smile!

I will never go to this place again. They do not care if you are comfortable...... Almost felt like they enjoyed having you in pain. I am pleased to say I found a better atmosphere and a dentist who cares about my comfort level.

Dr Kay took on my very difficult case over 20 years ago. She has studied and continually thinks outside the box to provide me with the BEST results imaginable. All of the staff are so kind, helpful, caring and supportive. My dental hygienist Katie has become a friend. She takes such good care of me and inspires me to continually improve my oral health. These women are all detail oriented perfectionists and leave no stone unturned to provide the best care plan possible. Terry in the front office is so helpful with scheduling and billing. Sometimes I swear she works miracles for me. Dr Holzer is dedicated to detail and patient education and is already someone I would completely trust. A dental office that provides a great experience and impeccable care. Wouldn’t consider going anywhere else.
