Prestwich Orthodontics

I've never been involved with a business that has acted so unprofessionally. I had an appointment that was somewhat urgent and the orthodontist cancelled the appointment. I had my permanent bar (that was behind my two front teeth to keep them from shifting) removed at the dentist so he could fill in a cavity properly. I then had an appointment at Preswich afterwards to get my bar put back on. It was rescheduled, however, not till almost a month later. It's been only about ten days and my teeth have already shifted. When I called to express my fears of my teeth shifting without the bar in place, the receptionist preceded to tell me that I never even had an appointment that day. I responded by telling her that I did have an appointment and that I was even called by them to let me know that my appointment was canceled due to the orthodontist having family related emergency. She then told me to call back the following day because she wasn't the "expert" and after repeatingly telling her my situation, asking if I could somehow get an appointment sooner than almost a month later, she was confused and of no help. I'm very disappointed, because my front teeth have now shifted and the gap I had before braces is back. I tried getting appointments everwhere or anywhere else, but there's such a long wait and especially for new patients. I would not recommend this place.

All three of my children have had braces from here. Super friendly and helpful staff from the front desk to Orthodontist! Happy kids, happy mom, beautiful smiles!

staff are always friendly and they all treated my daughter very good even when she had fear of the dentist. When she needed referrals to other facilities first they directed us to excellent people.

We are a transfer patient from out of state, due to a family member's job and they were able to see us right away and continue orthodontic treatment. Very friendly and gentle orthodontic treatment, along with helpful, friendly office staff, too. Highly recommend!

One of the associates were straight up in a bad mood, wasn’t ashamed to show it, and I was lucky enough to be her patient. And while I showed her a smile, she discouraged it and just walked away. While the changing of colours was going on, she was very aggressive. On the other hand, the other associates I’ve been with were really nice. Especially the front desk! :) But just not this one. :(

Tip - I think you guys should put chapstick or some kind of vaseline on your customers because it’s winter now. Some people might not be able to put on chapstick before they go to an orthodontist, and the associate might just pull and tear your mouth apart. So, open wide!

Great experience. We came from overseas with a kid in braces and they were very helpful in the transfer process. One less thing to worry about during our move.

The whole experience has been very professional. From the time you walk in the door and visit with the receptionists and all the assistants till the hand shake at the end with Dr Sommers and or Dr Prestwich. The staff genuinely cares about you and are working toward the big picture. Very pleased

The staff at Sommers and Prestwich are very friendly, patient and knowledgeable in their field of work. Even though i was a very challenging patient, they made me feel very comfortable and did not treat me like I was a problem for them. Very professional.

Today was our first visit at Prestwich and we already have our next appointments scheduled! We are happy to have found our family orthodontist!
