I called in as a regular client with some general questions on guidance to get braces and the receptionist that answered the phone was so unfriendly, rude and quick to get me off the phone! Hylan has certainly taken a drastic decline in their customer service aspect; advertisements of your business make it seem like you guys are so happy and willing to cater to your customers, yeah right way to cut me off with "we don't do that, call another office." no guidance, no help no apology just RUDE get it together, Hylan you really are lacking with your customer service and I can assure you have lost many clients because of the way you treat them!

I had a cleaning today, I will admit I was a little nervous about the close contact. I was pleasantly surprised how smoothly everything went. I called as soon as I got there, they informed me that there were two people before me and they would call me back when it was my turn. I only waited about 20 minutes. Once inside everything ran like clockwork....in and out. Thank you to everyone at Hylan Dental for putting yourselves on the front lines for us. I appreciate you all 👍😁

First they make time for you even on a busy day!! I was able to get in on a Saturday morning and I was a new patient. They took great care of me. I ended up scheduling a cleaning. They are all super nice and friendly, you can tell they really care about you as a patient and not just the dollar sign. They are also super gentle and I am afraid to come to the dentist and they put me at ease and I don't have to worry!!! They Rock I will recommend them to anyone.

My initial experience with Hylan, its staff and the dentist was great! I went in with a horrible bite issue from a previous dentist, and they were very understanding and ready to solve my issue. They answered all my questions and the hygienist was super empathetic and listened to everything I had to say before working on me. I truly appreciate their compassion and ready to work attitude. Plus, this was a same day appointment! I’m feeling better and they made it clear to contact them if things don’t improve. Thanks Hylan!

I cannot express how discouraged I am after trying to receive care at your W. 117th location over the last 3 months. My appointments have been rescheduled and cancelled on multiple occasions after waiting for over an hour in the parking lot due to Covid. At my last appointment, on the 12th, the office waited until I had been waiting for almost an hour to tell me that they had not yet received insurance approval for a procedure that was requested in November. Then, I was told they could only fill one cavity during my office visit after finally being invited in after an hour and a half. I understand that the pandemic has created new problems for every business - especially those in health care. I have yet to be treated so disrespectfully at any other office visit that is supposed to be dedicated to patient care. I hope that this is not the normal operating procedure at this office. I was referred here by a former employee with high hopes based on an outstanding review. I was sadly disappointed.

Hi my name is Ryan Ponzie and just want to say how amazing this place is. The staff is so kind, caring and most of all greatly professional. Back in 2009 I came here for the first time and was seen by the one and only Dr. Hylan himself. And he is such a generous and great person. He made me feel so comfortable and I had no pain during my procedure. I recommend you go to this place if you want to be cared for and treated with respect :)
