I recently had a semi-annual cleaning at Artisian Dental Group. Amber who performed the cleaning did a very professional and efficient cleaning. The picture taking and cleaning was done thoroughly. The staff are not only interested in your teeth, but your personal life as well. It was very appreciated when they asked about Charlotte, my wife, and how she was doing. The entire staff are so professional and are considered friends as well.

Dr Callejo has been my dentist for many years and done a great job. When I first came to him my teeth and gums were in pretty sorry condition. Over time he, and his incredible staff, have educated me on good dental habits and performed the procedures required.
About 2 years ago Dr Callejo did a dental implant of a front tooth. It looks great and is fully healed.
I have recommended Artisan Dental to my friends. What a great group.

I am deathly terrified of dentists. That fear and avoidance unfortunately led to teeth problems that I couldn't address on my own. Dr Callejo and his wonderful associates are so compassionate, informative, gentle, and safe. They take multiple precautions to ensure safety. I did not worry about leaving with any germs or me leaving germs there! They work with you to determine a treatment plan that works for everyone. They have advanced equipment even for x-rays for those of us that can't do bite- wings (not sure I used proper terminology). This last procedure was root planing and I thought I would have a lot of pain. I'm at home feeling great! Soft foods only but can still eat! I am confident I can get through any procedure with this practice at an affordable cost while handling my fears. This practice is efficient at finding multiple options in order for patients to get through procedures. I'm actually sorry I waited so long to go to them. Glad I found Dr. Callego and his team!
Update: still going through the process of an implant for my missing tooth. They still compassionately handle my horrendous gag reflex. Cleanings and x-rays are still trials but they handle them like warriors. They are very kind with word choice and stop a process if I need them to. Today we figured out a new way to position my head so the reflex lessens. Such a relief! Still grateful for finding this office! They can help anyone!

So far, my experience has been that they are very thorough and the staff has been very pleasant and competent. I was somewhat surprised there was no cleaning or examination at the initial visit. After full mouth X-rays and visual photos on April 10, I was scheduled for a consultation on June 23, which I thought was a long wait, given other dentists I visited could do consultation at the end of the appointment. To be fair, they were short handed and now have a second dentist. Root planing was advised and went well.
