Another amazing appointment today at Shawnee Dentistry. I became very anxious when they were about to numb my jaw to prep for a temporary crown. Rather than letting me try to gut it out myself, they stopped, gave me shots in stages so I was already numb for most of the later shots n didn’t much feel anything. The rest of the appointment went great! I’m sure thankful to have a dental Team who works together and communicates w me as they provide care. 🙌🏼

The staff was curtiouse, helpfully and professional. They were concerned about my care. Explained exactly what my options were as to my care and explained the costs. They handled the insurance and worked out the payment to fit my needs. They fixed my broken tooth on the spot and I was a call in with no previous history, I was a new patient. And they got me In same day. I was in a bad way and in pain and they were more than happy to help. They will now be caring for my family for future dental care.

Dr. Israelsen performed a same day root canal on me this past week. What can I say? He articulated the problem and solution very well. The area was well numbed, he performed the procedure thoroughly and expeditiously, and was very polite and meticulous throughout the entire process. I didn't feel a thing. It's worth noting that the music playing in the background throughout my procedure was top notch. It's a fine facility with an excellent staff.

Wonderful experience especially for my 3 and 6yr old who where very nervous at first. They were super patient with them.
But I only wish they would have waited for me to finish filling out my 11yr old son’s medical paperwork before they took him back. He has an autoimmune disease and shouldn’t have had an X-ray on thyroid, but when I went back there to check on him they had already taken the X-ray not covering the thyroid. I still had the paperwork in my hand! The lady apologized and was very kind. I just didn’t see the point in filling out all the medical questions if they aren’t going to pay attention to them!
