Every single person I have met at Today's Dentistry has been professional and completely focussed on our experience as patients.
Teri, the office manager, is incredibly knowledgeable about dental insurance options. My family was transitioning between two dental plans with the frustrating, but typical, confusion about timing, plan ID numbers and what would "probably" be covered. Teri helped me sort through our various options and created a schedule for appointments, insurance submissions and payments that allowed us to address urgent dental issues while using our insurance plans to the extent possible.
The service team is top notch; personable, aware that dental procedures can be uncomfortable, and very, very good. Dr. Warr himself sets the tone. He takes time to talk through what he is seeing, what it means in the short and long term, as well as our options.
The best example of Dr Warr's approach is what can seem like a little thing, he narrates everything he is doing during a procedure.
With other dentists, a typical experience included being head down in a chair, with my mouth clamped open, experiencing various sensations, sounds, fluids (gathering at the bottom of my throat) and so on; all while the dentist and his helper discuss their current interest.
With Dr. Warr, I am hearing "you will feel some pressure on the tooth", "I am now cleaning up around of the base of the tooth" and "would you like to see your new crown in place before I add the cement?". This narration is a simple thing. It let's me understand what is happening in my mouth and with my teeth. Most importantly to me, It shows Dr Warr and his team's commitment to me as a person rather than as a billable procedure.

Update: We had our first appointment with Dr. Warr's successor, Dr. Burneson today, and it's clear that Dr. Burneson will continue providing the standard of excellence set by Dr. Warr! He had my 8yo giggling and bantering and grinning in the chair. We really love this office and everyone in it!

Today's Dentistry is a state-of-the-art practice, and Dr. Warr is the BEST dentist I have ever experienced. I have been very happy with the thoroughness and competence of his care. My most recent experience: Dr. Warr did two lower arch dental implants for me. His pre-op consultations were very thorough, informative, and easy to understand, his post-op follow-up care has been excellent, and I'm VERY happy with the results. My wife and I have both been his patients for a number of years now, and we expect to remain with him from now on. Oh, and I should say his dental staff--his hygienist Jill and his assistants Lindsey, Carol, and Tracy--are also excellent. Today's Dentistry is top-notch all around.
