Advantage Dental+ | Bend

Advantage Dental of Bend did a thorough exceptional great job. :) I was very pleased from the moment of my arrival. The wait in the lobby was so minimal and Dr.Schuller’s dental assistant Cristal even helped me fill out the paperwork. Dr.Schuller and Cristal are very caring, detail oriented and professional. I personally am not a fan of going to the dentist but after going to Advantage Dental I now am at ease when scheduling my next appointment. I know I will get the best dental care possible at Advantage Dental.

Dentist and assistant were rude. Felt rushed. Prescribed me a fluoride toothpaste telling me it was a medicated toothpaste to help my gums. They didn’t listen when I told them my gag reflex acts up whenever you do x-rays. Kept shoving the thing in my mouth before finally numbing me to do x-rays dentist was rough when doing exam. When I got home after the numbing stuff wore off, I could taste blood in my mouth due to them shoving the damn x-ray thing in it and due to the dentist being rough with her poking and prodding! I tried to tell them I have a low pain tolerance and felt that they weren’t listening. They basically said “we just give you a temporary numbing solution in your mouth when we do the root canal.” Who the hell does that? I felt like they weren’t listening when I said I was on a fixed income. Felt that they just cared about money and not about getting my teeth fixed. I will never be going here again. Glad I switched before they did any actual work on me!

Front office staff could definitely offer a lot more smiles & a more welcoming feeling. I’ve never seen a dentist in Bend at this location that hasn’t been great; kind, compassionate & willing to explain things.

Worst experience here, time and time again. An elderly man that is in my care had a tooth pulled but pain was still unbearable. Went back and had second tooth removed that they "missed". Recieved a prescription that read, " take 6 every 6 hours" it was a narcotic!! Most recent visit; went in, found 3 broken teeth and one loose, got an antibiotic and asked to return the next MONTH to address the actual teeth. Second infection set in, finally had teeth pulled and said to take Tylenol/ibuprofen. Also said no to clear up 2nd infection because the infection came out with the teeth.....now the poor man is suffering so much. This is not proper care, it's criminal!

I had 2 teeth pulled because of an abscess. They got me in very quickly, with little notice and were very kind. Thanks for taking care of my problem teeth. Look forward to getting the rest of them dealt with.

Special thank you to Dr. Sherry he is fantastic and is really turning my opinion of the dentist around. There dental staff is awesome! They really do help with my anxiety when I come in. It makes it so much easier to come to the dentist when the staff is understanding and supportive! Thank you guys!

I came in for a cleaning. I was seen right away at my appointment time. I only have this visit three stars because the hygenist was not gentle. I come in fairly regular for cleanings and never have much gum bleeding, if any. This visit however, was quite painful as the hygenist did not seem to be very careful to avoid jabbing and scraping my gums. I bled much worse than any cleaning I have ever had to date. 8 hours later I my gums and jaw are still sore. All just from a 30 minute standard cleaning. They have a few hygenists and my first visit with them was with a different one, and I was very satisfied. But this time... No. I do not want to experience that again.

The little girls from high school running the reception desk are very unprofessional. The dental assistants are extremely comforting and nice, but the 2 actual dentist's I've dealt with are simply bad at their chosen profession causing unnecessary pain and discomfort.

The front desk failed to let the dental assistant know when i was done with my paperwork which caused my appt to run 30 min longer than it was supposed to and i had 2 kids with me. Once in back i felt very hurried cause they were already running late. Other than that no issues .The staff was nice .
