I have two young children and both LOVE going to the dentist. Shevlin Dental is a wonderful clinic - exactly the environment and technique you want for young children if you aren't attracted to the louder, cartoon-filled experiences at children's dentists. My children benefit from the calm, loving, cheerful environment they find here - they look forward to going and keep track of how long until they get to go again.

Things have deteriorated at this practice. After over 20 years with Shevlin, my wife and I have switched. They didn't even bother to call us to know why. So, I will share. 1. Not putting the customer first. 2. Always wanting to do x-rays when not needed. 3. Refusal to offer discounts for those without insurance...not even letting you pay the reimbursement rate. 4. Equipment is outdated. 5. Turnover of staff and dentists. 6. Advice not consistent. I could go on and on. You will be better served, if new to Bend, reach out and find someone better.

Dr. Matt Falconstein and his competent, professional, considerate and caring staff make going to Shevlin Dental Center a pleasant experience. My wife and I had gone to 4 different dentists in Bend until we "hit the jackpot" in discovering Dr. Matt Falconstein's Shevlin Dental Center. The entire staff always treat you as a special patient and provide you outstanding dental care. In addition to regular dental cleanings and check ups, Dr. Falconstein recently put a gold crown on one of molars. He definitely knows how to give a pain free injection to numb you plus the crown was a perfect fit the first time, with no additional adjustments. I strongly recommend Dr. Matt Falconstein if you are new to Bend or want to switch over to the Best Dental Team in Bend!

Five Years ago I moved to Bend. I was here about a month and woke up one morning with a dental emergency. I called around to find a dentist. I explained my problem expecting to get an appointment in about two weeks. Much to my delight they had me come in immediately and I met Dr. Matt Falkenstein. Dr Matt did a thorough exam and created a dental plan, which I had never had done before. What a awesome approach. Wanting to change out gold crowns originally I found that there were several other teeth that needed attention first. With several appointments taking care of the teeth that needed to be my priority I finally had my gold crowns replaced to porcelain.
