Few of us look forward to going to the dentist, but a visit to Canby Smiles is always pleasant. Front desk people greet everyone with a smile and by name. Hygienists are skillful and interested in you as a person. Dr Wieland is knowledgeable and personable. He also listens to my concerns and explains options clearly. Overall, Canby Smiles is a great dental office.

Had a great experience at Canby Smiles! Friendly staff, nice building. Dr. Wieland is very personable, has an excellent technique in administering anesthetic, I felt it less than I anticipated. Numbing was a non-event. Assistants and hygienists are all very professional and good at their job. They did an excellent job both on the dental side and at the front office. Nice people!

Trust in a dentist has been an issue for me for many years, until I met Dr. Wieland. Both Dr, Wieland and his entire staff are so incredibly welcoming and warm it's simply impossible to not feel good about going in for an appointment. I had the most comfortable dental experience that I’ve ever had. The entire staff was kind and caring. They took time to explain things to me and answered my questions. I didn’t feel like they were rushing to get me through. I had to have a filling fixed and it was the best mouth numbing I’ve ever had and they were also quick with replacing the filling. They go the extra step to make sure their patients are comfortable by offering blankets, neck pillows, and headphones, which helped to ease my anxiety. I am so glad I chose to go to Canby Smiles and highly recommend them.

We love Canby Smiles! Dr. Wieland has a gift for dentistry & you can tell he cares about his patients. He is so good with kids & teenagers. My daughter was in quite a bit of pain and had to have a root canal done. She was very nervous about it, but the whole procedure went very smoothly. (Thank you!) His assistants Angela & Cherie are so nice! You can tell his staff are happy to be there and happy to help you & it makes the whole experience so positive.

My experience with Dr. Wieland has been exceptional. I've been his patient since Dr. Jean Martin retired. That's been years. Dr. Wieland is so gentle (a big plus for all of us "chickens"), so patient, answers the most trivial of questions and NEVER makes you feel hurried. I finally talked my husband in to going to see the great folks at Canby Smiles and after his initial visit he told me that never before had a dentist spent so much time talking with him and wanting to get to know him. He was used to the rush-rush that many dollar hungry dentists are like. Hubby was so thrilled with Dr. Wieland that we went ahead and had a major mouth renovation (dental plates anchored with implants) done for him. And do you know that after hubby's appointment to have all teeth extracted and he was still a little dopey (more than usual) after sedation the anesthesiologist followed us home so he could safely get into the house. I never asked for help, he offered! Now tell me where do you get service like that?? We just completed this mouth renovation and couldn't be happier. Dr. Wieland is a rare bird that really cares about the person. If you have had less than stellar experiences with dental care in the past you owe yourself a visit to see Dr. Wieland. I highly recommend Canby Smiles.
