Review for a teeth cleaning I had at K. Frome clinic,

First, I would like to state that the behavior of the employees was really nice and charming throughout the entire time. On the other hand there are a couple of issues I would like to comment and that unfortunately were not that pleasant.

X-rays: During my visit yesterday, the whole x-ray procedure was long, annoying and sometimes even harmful. I had more than 18 x-rays! and I had the feeling that the person in charge was not a hundred percent sure of what she was doing (same happened when she was shadowing the dentist when checking the x-rays afterwards). She took several x-rays of the same area, because the element that was placed inside my mouth was not correctly placed and kept moving and also because she did not know how to use the image processing software. A few times she even hit it accidentally when I was holding it hurting my guns. I was really uncomfortable throughout and after the x-ray.

Cleaning: the woman who did the cleaning was really nice, knowledgeable and friendly and teaching me how to use the floss underneath my lower retention wire was really nice of her. However, after the cleaning, I checked my teeth back on my car’s mirror and spotted 4 different tea/coffee stains on my front incisors. At that point I was not sure about returning to the clinic because those stains may be inside the teeth and a simple cleaning would not remove them. Finally, I decided to go back just to ask and after cleaning again those 4 teeth, the stains were totally removed. Since those were not permanent stains that means she forgot to remove 4 (pretty evident) stains on my incisors.

In addition, after arriving home I noticed how I still had plaque stains on my molar crowns and underneath the retention wire. I do not know if the way to do it in the US is just caring about what is visible and not about the general teeth healthiness, but every time I had a cleaning somewhere else every single stain was removed, not only the ones that are evident or visible. Apparently, the cleaning treatment here is more like a beauty treatment than a prevention treatment.

Finally, Dr. Frome suggested me to get two fillings and a wisdom tooth extraction. After checking other place, they told me that neither the wisdom teeth removal was necessary and the same for one of the fillings.

And last, I really appreciated that I did not have to wait in the waiting room for a long time (less than 5 minutes), but for me, it does not make any sense that a simple teeth cleaning takes 2.5 hours (10.15 to 12.45)

Really disappointing experience.
Non-recommendable at all.
Try to look for somebody more professional.
