I visited Dr. Whicker for a tooth extraction and bone graft for a future implant placement. I am a Denturist (I fabricate and fit dentures). I see patients on a daily basis with fresh extractions and often times sutures. I was so impressed with Dr. Whicker! He was kind and courteous and very professional. He made sure that I was comfortable with each step of the procedure and talked to me and explained what he was doing throughout the process. The extraction site looks amazing and his sutures are impeccable. The staff were very friendly and the office is pristine. I will definitely be referring not only my friends and family, but my own patients to Dr. Whicker for dental treatments. I am so pleased!

This dentist will not tell you that do not participate in any insurances and then will tag on bills to you, they hardly have any patients and this is there way of getting patients in and billing in hefty fees when it is said and done.

My first experience with this dental practice was a free consultation with Dr Whicker regarding a tooth with an old root canal.. Dr. Whicker was kind, listened well, and came to the consultation well prepared. He didn't rush me and took time to review my X-rays before he came to the consultation. He also gave me multiple treatment options and didn't seem bothered by my questions. I've had many other dental experiences where the dentist spent much less time with me, yet I was not charged for the consultation. A few weeks after the consultation, I had a separate cleaning and exam which were also positive experiences. Christie, the dental hygienist, was personable, VERY experienced, and she gave me several new suggestions on how to improve the health of my teeth. I was also given several free samples so I could try out new products.

I have nothing but good to say about Wellness Centered Dentistry. I am grateful for their care, kindness and that I can rest assured that I am getting top quality care. Thank you!

Wellness Centered Dentistry is not simply a business. It is a patient-centered practice with capable, thoughtful, kind, competent professionals. Dr. Whicker has a gentle demeanor and cares deeply about doing good work. They make sure to book enough time that appointments are never rushed--appointments are not about the money, they are about the patient need! The staff are transparent and open about their recommendations (and why they are making them), and take time to answer any and all questions. They do clean, precise work, and are cheerful throughout!

I have had excellent treatment by Dr. Whicker. He seems to have the latest equipment for patient comfort and takes an easy approach to recommending the use of it. Everything possible was done for my comfort, including my requests for special measures. I have found him easy to work with and knowledgeable about my other health issues which impact my dental health. The outcomes have been good with minimal discomfort.
The staff is friendly, kind and helpful. The office is clean and pleasantly decorated.

I have a LOT of dental work to be done. I decided to go with Dr. Whicker even though he is not a participating dentist in my network, because if I am going to go thru all of this, I want it done right. I also require a supportive and friendly atmosphere; which he has created. The difference in professionalism between this office and the other two offices I considered and visited before beginning this work was tangible. Dr Whicker gave me multiple injections to numb my mouth before beginning work, and I DIDN'T feel any pain from the injections. Because I have had chronic pain for 14 years I am over-sensitive, so not feeling pain from the injection was huge for me. I was also pleasantly surprised after the procedure, to have only minor discomfort. After years of sub-standard dental work, Wellness Centered Dentistry is a welcome relief .

As you know I have been in a lot of dental offices....the attitude of staff is super important, esp. when the client doesn't want to go along with protocol. WE have a lot of reasons to NOT "go along with conventional dental protocol" ie mercury etc. I liked the attitude of the staff, I felt like I could say almost anything without eye rolling and cold shouldering. Also the atmosphere of non scurry hurry was comforting. I also like the spaciousness of the office.
