Open Door Family Dentistry: Medford

I've never had such a great experience at a dentist before. I would always push off getting things done because of how miserable visits were at other places. Not here! The staff is so incredibly nice and go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable! Dr. Scheiss and Dr. Bailey are amazing and so are all the assistants and front desk help. Thank you for making dental work easy, fun, and painless.

I wish I had come here years ago.
I was treated with courtesy and graciousness by the ENTIRE staff, not just the dentist.
Open Door met my dental needs with punctuality and insightful professionalism. They also charged reasonably.
My previous very highly rated dentist made me feel irrelevant and as though money was all they cared about with their patients.

Update: Open Door Family Dentistry continues to impress me with their patience, cleanliness, flexibility and whole staff kindness. They recently went through THREe biteguards to find the correct one for me! Endless patience from Dr. Scheiss and extra gentle treatment from Daisy who didn't give me a literal migraine when she made took the impressions!
Thank you and I hope your popularity and prosperity continues well past 2021!

I regret going to the #1 dentist in Medford. I find Dr. Schiess and his staff are amazingly friendly, welcoming, and actually care about their patients, not just their profits.
Additionally, Dr. Schiess is experienced, detail-oriented, thorough, and patient. My husband accidentally broke my nighttime bite-guard. Dr. Schiess spent nearly an hour with me trying all types of repairs, but nothing worked AND he did not charge me!
In this time of CORVID-19 stress, it's nice to find someone more concerned about the person than the profit.
Additionally, I have a lung disease, a kidney disease, and I'm immune suppressed. I feel comfortable with the precautions taken by this office.
I look forward to the entire staff here and I feel lucky to have found a clean, competent and caring dentistry office that works with any schedule; they are open from 7 AM to 7 PM six days a week!

I am so very happy with this office. I am not fond of going to the dentist and get really bad anxiety, but this office is amazing. All the staff make you feel 100% comfortable and tell you that you're the boss and in control. After 1 year of having an infected tooth I came here to have it removed. Not only did Dr.Schiess do a fantastic job, but he was supportive in helping with anxiety. It had been 9 years since my last visit and they didn't make me feel terrible about the state my teeth were in. I will be coming back for all of my care. Thank you a bunch!!

They got my husband in the same day I called, and the appointment went smoothly and quickly! I also love how they are open late and on Saturdays! Made it easy for my husband to go straight there after work and not have to get any time off. Thank you guys!!

It's not everyday that I write a review for a dental office. A restaurant or hotel, maybe. So...this is a first for me.
WOW!! What a wonderful atmosphere I found here from the moment I walked in. Friendly staff who treat you with dignity...who answer any question you may have...and always have a smile!
I'm not used to this...a 5-star experience...in a dental office!
Got a cavity...need a cleaning...this is where you want to be!
These guys ROCK!!

I've always hated going to the dentist. I put off cleanings for way too long and my teeth really do suffer for it. I came here a few weeks ago, got xrays and a cleaning for no charge (after insurance) and then made an appointment for my filling. I gotta say it was one of the most painless and overall smooth filling experiences. I really want to recommend this dentist, they make me not want to avoid dental care, which is great haha

Very friendly and efficient. Have been going there for years. They also offer an affordable dental plan.
