As always belmont dentistry has gone above and beyond. I called them with a last minute emergency and they were so kind to find me a slot to come in as soon as they could.

This is about my 3rd visit to this office -- now housed in a new beautiful and large new building 2 doors east. Dr. Tinkle was away so I had Dr. Yoon. She and Christina had a huge job to remove a large tooth in (back upper right). It had 3-4 roots and they did a great job. For some reason, I got emotional and couldn't breathe. We took a break and they served me in the most compassionate and loving way.
1st visit:
This dental office is wonderful. When I found that Dr. Tinkle is a 3rd generation dentist, has one or two uncles who became dentists,. and that he teaches at the dental school; I felt confident that I would be happy with his expertise. Now I have seen that the business is very family like as well as professional. I feel very comfortable with my experiences there.

My family loves Belmont Family Dentistry! The care is the best I’ve ever received. Everyone in the office is kind, respectful and organized. Providers were especially wonderful with our challenging 2 yr old on her first visit. Other outstanding points are the clarity around billing and other policies, in addition to the ease of rescheduling and customizing appointment reminders. I can’t recommend this practice more highly.

I’ve recently relocated to Portland (leaving behind my dentist of over 45 years) and decided that I would heed my daughter’s recommendation of choosing Belmont Family Dental for my dental care. I had my first appointment today with Dr. Tinkle. I had such a positive experience!
The dental office is modern and at the same time cozy, comfortable and inviting. Everyone there was kind, helpful and patiently answered any questions that I had.
My exam was thorough and Dr. Tinkle and I agreed upon a plan to move forward in treating some issues with my teeth. He was so knowledgeable and really very nice. I couldn’t have felt more reassured.
I’m actually looking forward to returning to this dental office. I know! who ever says that they are looking forward to their next dental appointment!? I’m so pleased :)
***UPDATE*** Just finished my Invisalign teeth straightening treatment with Dr T and I am nothing but wonderfully pleased with the results :))

Their practice adopts the best equipment and processes I have ever experienced. They have a forward thinking culture Where they continue to evaluate what technology and processes can be improved to provide the best patient experience with fewest visits possible.
The entire practice is also empathetic to needs unique to an individual. For example: I have had a lot of dental work done as a child on my baby teeth from a dentist in a different state. The treatment from this dentist was very poor. Dr Tinkle and his staff has helped alleviate my anxiety by proving they are gentle and accomplished in all of their work.

This dentist is the best I’ve ever been to. I had to have a root canal and crown. They were really good and they are able to make the new tooth 🦷 right there and put it on right away, so you don’t need to wait a week or more with a crazy tooth and then go back. I was really nervous but they made it as easy and comfortable as possible. Dr Tinkle did great work. It looks perfect! I would definitely recommend going to them. It’s a really nice neighborhood place, small and friendly. They create a pretty comfortable atmosphere and have invested in the best technology to make it as easy as possible on the customer. Thanks!
