Dr. Doyel is the best dentist! He is gentle, caring, kind, compassionate, funny, honest, highly intelligent and skilled at his craft. He has treated me and my family and we all love him. He uses only the highest quality and long lasting, non-toxic dental materials, and he really teaches us how to prevent needing dental work in the future. Everyone in his office is happy to be there and it shows. The staff is warm, friendly and helpful. The office is beautiful and comfortable. No one seems to love their dentist, but our whole family loves ours'!

Doctor Aanderud has been my dentist for quite some time now. He is excellent at what he does and I trust him completely. In fact, I consider him to be an important friend in my life. Last week I had some problems with two of my teeth and he took the time to work around his very busy schedule to help me and fix my problem. In fact, he really went out of his way!!! The staff that supports him are also excellent at what they do too! Particularly Ursula who handles the business end of things. She is smart and can help anyone with financing options, etc. I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. A and his team!!!

As always, a very pleasurable experience. Dr. Doyel and his team take as much time as needed to make sure any questions are always answered. This visit was just for a routine cleaning but I've also been putting off getting a couple of implants done so they to extra time in explaining the process. I also found out that Dr. Doyel is one of the very few to be board certified in Implant Dentistry for Oregon which is comforting to know I have one of the best working on my smile.

The thing I most appreciate about New Smiles is the comfort of familiar faces. Specifically my hygienist Karie, and the level of innovative technology; I am a dental assistant and I love how they never stop progressing, wasting no space for improvements!
One suggestion for people like me with general anxiety? Offer patients the ability to listen to music on their devices (or yours) with wireless earbuds. It could be a nice option for people with dental anxiety.

“Now offering wireless music during cleanings and treatments!” Bring your wireless earbuds to further enhance your dental experience...”
I don’t know if it’s logistical, but that would be a very nice touch.

Professional and friendly service! Barb is an amazing hygienist who is thorough, friendly and cares! Historically I’ve always hated going to the dentist but the staff from the time you walk in till the time you leave make you feel comfortable and welcome.

I was a patient here for several years, and I had no complaints. Then I had an appointment to have my teeth cleaned, and the dental technician was not able to complete the job within the scheduled hour. She informed me I would have to make a second appointment. I was okay with that until I found out I had to pay again! I paid to have my teeth cleaned, not half cleaned.
I compared my bill to my wife's bill, and the out of pocket charge (the part insurance doesn't cover) was double what her dentist charged. We are talking in the range of $80 instead of $40, but it adds up. I changed dentists.

After four years of not visiting a dentist, I bit the bullet (well maybe I should choose some other metaphor as I hear bullets are not the best for dental health!) and came to New Smiles for the first time. I was so impressed not only by the physical office space, but mostly by the great personalities of all the staff I interacted with. No dental hygienist has explained things so well or been so gentle in their exam as Jasmine. She even had numbing gel for my gums so they wouldn't hurt during the inevitable poking. It was a real pleasure to meet Dr. Doyle. He put me at ease right away and I think I can relax during any procedures he might have to do, Of which, there are several. But he will be able to fill a cavity and replace three crowns during one three-hour appointment! I'm so blessed to have found this dental group and I have nothing but good to say about them.
