Our whole family has our dental work done here. It’s been a pleasant experience for all of us! Friendly staff, techs and dentists. It’s a rarity to feel so comfortable in a dentist office, but they all work to put you at ease. They genuinely care about their patients and are respectful and responsive to feedback- there’s no criticism or “up-selling” that one sometimes encounters with less-than reputable dentists. Best place in Thurston for your dental needs!

My experience was not a plesant one. I had a broken tooth removed & should have been given an antibiotic a couple days before & got an infection & excruciating pain. I am allergic to ibuprofen & there was nothing prescribed to
Help with the pain. I go to McKenzie Dental because they have always been really great but this last visit was not good.

I explained I had a pretty traumatic experience which had prevented me from going to the dentist for quite a few years. Dr. Lee and his team were absolutely incredible and thoughtful and I couldn't be more thankful! They listened to my concerns, were incredibly professional, and didn't try to push me or sell me on any services. I felt truly cared for and had some genuinely great conversations with the staff. 10/10 would recommend this whole team! Thanks guys! I'll see you in 6 months for my next cleaning 🙂

My husband, three teenagers and I all came to McKenzie Dental for the first time today. My hygienist was Heidi, and she was efficient, kind, and gentle. I have receding gums, and I appreciated the honesty, and advice without judgement or trying to have me pay for extra services like other places have done. Dr. Shakespear was also very efficient and professional. I appreciated his honesty about the importance of future services. When I got back to the car my 3 kids were arguing over who had the best hygienist! I had thought maybe we had lucked out with a great hygienist, but every person that we interacted with in the office was just fabulous. We also had shopped around before hand, and this office was very affordable with the maintenance plan that they have. We are definitely going to stick with McKenzie Dental for quite some time!
