Best dental treatment in ages. I came to Dr. Ketcher after having trouble getting quality care with another practice in the gorge for the last ten years. I have been really pleased with the care and service at River Dental. Dr. Ketcher has taken the time to explain things to me at a level that no other dentist has ever bothered to do in the past. It lets me feel like I'm a person who has a choice in what is happening and an understanding of what is about to happen. It's stressful having dental work done, but when I have someone working on me who cares enough to not rush me, and spends the time to treat me like he cares if I'm happy with the result, I can relax enough to trust that I'll be better after his treatment than before.

I need very little dental work, but do need good cleaning.
For 5 years I went to a place in Hood River & while OK, there were a few small issues, but once I retired, I found the small issues & the drive to much & found River Dental.
I just had 2 fillings done over 2 weeks. After not having any real work done for 15 years, I was a little apprehensive.
Everyone there was great. They worked with me to spread out the work so it fit my schedule.
NO Pain, at all on my 2 fillings. No numb forever after the work was done. You know the sensation, where after the numbing agent has worn off, you discover, you chewed you're tongue, none of that.
Quite impressed & relived.

I have had the pleasure to do business Dr. Reid Ketcher and the staff at River Dental over the past 4 months. I had neglected my teeth for over 6 years, and presented Dr Ketcher with several broken teeth and cavities.
From day one I was treated extremely professionally, with costs being upfront and an exact treatment plan. I found the staff to be a total pleasure to work with, and Dr. Ketcher being a consummate professional, while keeping the atmosphere light and enjoyable.
They addressed every concern I had immediately, and navigated me through 4 crowns and multiple cavities and fillings. I found the procedures to be gentle, and I was completely engaged in all processes.
I cannot recommend Dr. Ketcher and his staff more highly., I am grateful I chose River Denatal for my dental and oral care need. You will not be disappointed!

Most important attribute for any dental provider is trust. Dr Ketcher is completely trust worthy. He takes the time to explain the status, the treatment recommended, the why and the expected outcome. I have found his professionalism and technique excellent. I live out of the Dalles area and have many alternatives between where I live and River Dental. Nevertheless I am happy to make the trip because I have been 100% satisfied with Dr Ketcher

I had been dealing with a shattered molar #32 for almost 2 months it got to the point where it was too much I called them up on a Saturday night at 8:45 and they got me in right than most brilliant work ive ever seen, wonderful people, fair price. They where amazing they have my sincerest gratitude, they know people and they know how to make you feel at home, and they even did the work even though i was having difficulty finding my insurance card they where so amazing I wish they where taking new patients.

I have had nothing but total professionalism from Dr. Ketcher. He takes the time to explain options and processes which helped put me at ease. He cared enough in his personal touch to even make me laugh, to calm me before proceeding. His assistant, Nanette, with whom I have had contact is excellent. Dr. Ketcher has even followed up in an after hours phone call to be sure I was feeling well.

Had to have some oral work done, Dr. Ketcher laid out multiple options. Seems like a pretty straight shooter and I appreciate that. Great dentist, super caring staff. Professional yet very personable as well. I think I found my new dentist in town.

I worked for this dentist for a year and a half when the previous dentist retired. I do not regret quitting; horrible to his staff and takes a very long time to perform simple fillings. He is rarely on time with his patients.
