Dr. Mazin is a very good dentist. I have had some extensive dental work done that took about two years to complete. He was always patient and understanding. I've been seeing Dr. Mazin for 5 years now. Normally I am nervous about seeing a dentist, even if it's just cleanings. Dr. Mazin always puts me at ease when I'm in the chair and I do just fine. He carefully explains what he is doing and why it's necessary.
He can also use a laser to fill gaps/cavities in the teeth and often times, you won't even need novocaine. His office manager, April is very friendly and knowledgeable about dental insurance.
I have recommended Dr. Mazin to my co-workers and they were also pleased with his services. I am very glad that I have a dental home where I feel comfortable, whether it's a routine check-up or a filling.

My husband and I have been Dr. Mazin's patient for 13 years. Followed him from his Glenside office to Elkins Park several years ago. Having moved from NJ, where my dentist there had someone else do my cleanings and did a hard sell on whiteners and other (unnecessary) cosmetic repairs, Dr Mazin was a breath of fresh air. Dr. Mazin has a small office, is always on time, takes my insurance, does great work, performs his own cleanings, x-rays upload to a computer, he uses a painless laser drilling for fillings, and once (just once), offered me a whitener package. My husband has had more extensive dentistry performed (implants and tooth replacement) and was also extremely happy with the results.

I recommend Dr. Mazin for everyone. He is prompt, professional, careful and likes to try/use new technology. His assistant always gives you a reminder a day or before your appt. and they have Saturday hours. Our family has used him since the late 90's and would travel far to go to him if we moved, and my daughter already does. We have Delta Dental and know they accept other insurance cos.
