The staff was sweet and Dr. Mathis is amazing! He is so fast and very professional. He walked me through the entire procedure on what he was doing or what he was about to do and I respected that!!! Because I was a nervous wreck at first but afterwards I was relieved and in no pain!! I think this will be my new dentist office!

I had my first appointment with Bent Creek Dental and Dr. Mathis today and in all honesty, it was the best dental appointment I’ve ever had. The staff is wonderful, friendly and kind, and Dr. Mathis was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and came up with a wonderful plan of action. If you’re afraid of the dentist/dental appointments try Bent Creek Dental! They know what they’re doing and they’re doing it very well! Also, I want to give a shout out to Shelby who was absolutely wonderful with me. She explained everything she was doing, helped me understand what work needs to be done, and walked me through the work I need done. Kindness, understanding, and compassion go a long with patient whose a ball of anxiety and nerves.

Swung by a few weeks ago to try and snag an appointment, the ladies up front were awesome and very helpful! Kelsey took care of my cleaning and she was awesome! They are easily one of the best Dental offices I’ve ever been to!

I've come to realize living near the Auburn, AL area, that you can not have a certain type of insurance or live below a certain tax bracket to survive here. 88% of doctor's offices do not take Medicare/Medicaid/AllKids and this is one of those offices. I scheduled an appt for my 3yro daughter here and spoke with a young lady over the phone. I am a billing/coding specialist 1 as well as an office mgr for a psychotherapist. My family has Medicaid temporarily. With that being said asking abt what insurance is accepted is always one of my first questions. Now I understand errors but I made the appt weeks in advance and never was told they don't accept Medicaid until I got to the location. That was a waste of my time and energy. Then the woman at the front desk assumed she had told me. I suffer from anxiety, so I didn't argue with her bc it honestly wasn't worth it but that was extremely annoying. Please do better about what information is told and accept state insurances because over 78% of people in Alabama has Medicaid/Medicare/AllKids.
