My family has been coming here for many years. Competent dental work and no issues of a dentist always looking for a problem to solve. My only complaint is Dr. Atkinson steadfastly refuses to prescribe pain medications for patients (even after implant surgery) other than Ibuprofren.

I have a fake front tooth that I cracked in half when young. It was a complex break resulting in a root canal and metal post implant that have required continuous follow-up and maintenance in the decades since. Needless to say, I’ve been in and out of dentist offices more than average person—so trust me when I say: Dr. Atkinson and his team are among the best of the best. Dr. Atkinson was so attentive, as was his technician, Ave. The two of them seemed to care more about the perfection of my crown and smile than even I did!! And on top of their commitment to going above and beyond, Dr. Atkinson and his team were so pleasant, patient and kind. After I left, they continued to follow-up to make sure I was happy with the crown. For first time in years, I feel so confident in my smile, thanks to them. Couldn’t recommend more highly! Definitely go to this dentist!

The office was great and Dr. Atkinson was very knowledgeable and helpful in coming up with treatment options. If you are a normal patient I recommend him, but if you are like me and a chronic pain patient I do not recommend. I understand he is doing what he sees as best course of action but denying pain medication after a procedure because I take a nightly pain medication is not right. Agree or disagree that is your opinion but until you live the life of a person in chronic pain you don’t know what you are taking about. Most of us feel more pain than you can imagine and dental procedures are painful and take a few days to get over.

The staff here are extremely friendly and the environment is very pleasant; The work itself is high quality and we enjoyed being patients here. ***BUT BEWARE*** The finance office participates in a "pre-approval" process that is designed to confirm insurance coverage for your treatment before you show and before treatment is rendered. We were told that a series of our treatments were fully covered by our insurance. We later found that there was a gap in coverage during several of our appointments and we were billed in full. It was our understanding that when we were told a visit was 100% covered, that it was indeed verified and covered. I guess "pre-approval" is a loose interpretation. Speaking from a VERY expensive lesson learned, DO YOUR INSURANCE VERIFICATION YOURSELF. Their report of your insurance coverage is not kept up to date and may not be correct. We are extremely disappointed in this misleading process and are currently searching for a new dentist.

Everyone was very friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. The staff and doctor were very engaging and I felt a personal connection with them right from the start. The office decor and Christian environment was very pleasant. They even had a book in the reception area with quotes by one of my favorite authors, C.S. Lewis. I highly recommend them.
