I called to set an appointment with Dr. Lumpkin’s office (as a returning patient). I had a dentist already, however, he was retiring and his office was closing (as he is the only dentist in his entire office). I was a patient of Dr. Lumpkin in 2014 and decided to return to her office. I was also having tooth pain so I wanted to receive the earliest appointment that I could, however after calling and speaking with an older lady (employee) over the phone to try and set up an appointment, she was very short with me and didn’t seem at all too interested in helping me set an appointment. Upon calling, I did explain that I was having tooth pain and would need the earliest appointment available, only to receive a date for late next week. When asked if that was the “earliest appointment?” I was told they had an opening on today (this a.m.) and I was scolded that if I was in that much pain I would have to make sure I was “earlier than on time” for an appointment that wasn’t even set as of yet! Which I have NO PROBLEM doing but I just felt that the lady was very short and seemed almost annoyed that I had called asking for an appointment because of tooth pain, however if my dentist office wasn’t closing I surely wouldn’t need to set an appointment! I informed her that Dr. Lumpkin isn’t the only dentist in Montgomery! I’m sure my insurance and my money would be appreciated somewhere else! I’m very disappointed in the level of service that I received!

I absolutely adore Dr. Lumpkin during my visit today. What I respect the most about her, is her passion and consideration for her patients. She is very thorough. Her patience and the time she spends explaining any issues that may arise was very comforting.

Love this office! I’ve been seeing Dr. Bennett for years. My kids started at a pediatric dentist. I was unhappy with the staff so I scheduled them an appointment at my dentist office. They love them. We wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Dentist likes to berate people and call them trash in front of kids. If you live in Tallassee you should avoid this dentist because he automatically doesn't like you.

I love this place they are very professional and the wait time is less then 25 mins.

First of all, I have to say that if I could rate this dentist facility 0 stars then I would have! I had to change dentists because of my insurance and the first time I went to see Dr. Lumpkin for a cleaning she told me I had 8 cavities. I was shocked! I didn't have any teeth that were hurting and had only had 2 cavities my entire life! I immediately called my old dentist and paid out-of-pocket for a second opinion. Glad I did! He said most of those spots where just decalcification spots that could be treated with fluoride. There was one tooth that had a soft spot that he said he would recommend fixing, but the other 7 he wouldn't touch. If you go to Dr. Lumpkin I HIGHLY recommend getting a second opinion. UPDATE: As of 11/4 I received a $100 bill for my "free cleaning" for x-rays that I wasn't given the option to have/or not have. I was never told "this may be an extra charge". When I called to inquire about the service that I didn't ask for, but that I was being charged for, I was informed by the billing lady that is how their office operates. I said, so you regularly perform services that people don't ask for and then charge them? She said "that's our policy." She said "you owe the $100 and we are not removing the charge." I cannot exclaim clearly enough... DO NOT USE DR. LUMPKIN!! There are many good dentists in Montgomery to choose from... there's no need to be treated like a money tree.
