Dr. Lance D. Green, DDS

My 82-year-old mother who has some dementia LOVES this place, as do I. The doctor, assistant and all of the front desk staff are friendly, professional and, most importantly, caring. They listen and accommodate. Couldn't ask for better. Plus, it's a lovely office environment!

Been with this dental practice since I came to town many years ago. Love the people, love the care that they take with my cleanings and exams. Wouldn't have it any other way!

I've been seeing Dr. Green for years. Hands down, the best in town. Fast, and friendly. Jen at the front desk is the best, as are the other assistants.

I hate to say this but I've never felt so ripped off from a dentist in my life. I'm not even sure Lance knows what his staff is doing. I was charged twice the amount any other dentist charges for a 45 minute cleaning. Before that I needed a tooth pulled, Lance tells me one price and the girl charged me more. I guess if you have insurance you're good to go... But don't be a cash customer here.

Tauby and I have been going to Dr. Lance for 15 years and he is the best dentist we have ever been to. He is meticulous and caring and a genuinely fine person. We have no reservations whatsoever about recommending him to others (and we do so ......quite a bit!). And he has a great staff too!!

This was the most thorough cleaning and exam I have ever had. I especially liked the way Meloney explained everything she was doing and why.

I came to Prescott for a short visit, had to extend the visit, and decided to see if a local dentist would be willing to take on a patient that was just passing thru. Dr. Green accepted my situation, requested my current x-rays from my regular dentist, and went to work. He and his staff were friendly, professional and GENTLE. All appointments were scheduled promptly and I was never in the waiting room for more than 5 minutes. Dr. Green also suggested some additional work to be done some time in the future, where and when it was convenient for me. No pressure to do extra work at this time. I hate going to the dentist, but if I lived in Prescott, Dr. Green would definitely be my dentist.

I have been a patient since 2017 and came in with what I assumed to be a cavity. It was very painful and sensitive, so I came to see Dr. Green for an assessment of it. I had just given birth 8 weeks prior and knew that the pregnancy in general, wreaked havoc on my oral health and was confident that the dentist would be able to bring it up to speed, as he had previously done. Unfortunately, that did not happen. Upon examination, I understandably expressed some apprehension about Dr. Green ‘s examination, as again, the site was incredibly sensitive to pressure. As opposed to my apprehension being met with some compassion, he met it with theatrical aggression. He told me “I’m trying his patience” and “after how many visits, did I ever beat you up”? He finished with “if you don’t like it, you can go somewhere else”. This was after 3 minutes of examination. I went home crying and discharged myself from the office. It was a terribly embarrassing and hurtful experience.

He's very conservative and very explanatory. I've been very pleased with his staff.

I, along with my family have been patients of Dr. Green since he joined Dr. McClain years ago. He is a kind and gentle dentist! He's quick and thorough! I am happy to recommend him.

Dr. Green has been our family dentist for a number of years. We both are very satisfied with the quality of his work -- fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals -- everything a senior citizen inevitably needs. On rare occasions when other specialists have been needed, they comment on the high quality of the restorations that he has made. Equally important, Dr. Green consistently does whatever is necessary to satisfy a patient's concerns about the appearance of a restoration and he reliably responds to emergencies, and he expedites and manages treatment to efficiently remedy a patient's problem. And his staff mirrors his dedication.

I've been a patient of Dr. Green's for many years. He's very personable and explains things well. He gives the gentlest shots I've ever had with a dentist. He has filled spots on my front teeth where the color blended so well that I can't even tell which teeth have been repaired now. I highly recommend him.

I've been using Dr. Green since early 2005 and have the highest regard and respect for his dental care ability. He has always been very considerate of my concerns and handles everything with utmost professionalism. His support staff are second to none, courteous and proficient and a joy to deal with.
