Shepherd Family Dentistry

I love to go to the dentist in general but going to this dentist is more fun than all the other dentist. The staff are nice and they talk to you. The dentist himself is amazing and your teeth will be as pretty as mine if you went to him.

I went to another dentist and he wanted to pull all my teeth! Dr. Shepherd saved all my teeth! I had several fillings over several visits. Each time it became easier. Dr. Shepherd was excellent didn’t hurt a bit. His staff was understanding and helpful. Then I he put my dentures in and ta-da my old smile back! I have had them 2 weeks and they’re great!

Giving 5 stars because of the nice relaxing office, great dental care and attention to detail. Was impressed with their friendly front desk staff, great hygienists and gentle and thorough dentist. I now live further away, but still travel back to this office to get my dental work done. Would highly recommend to anyone needing family dental care.

This place is great! The staff is friendly and the dentist is super nice and helpful. I could tell that he was taking his time and really doing a good job. I have had several fillings done and they have all lasted over 10 years. He was conservative and tried to keep as much of my healthy teeth as possible. Great place to go.

I am I am extremely disappointed and saddened by the low and uncomfortable quality of care that I received at this dental practice. Though the reception at the front desk is kind, the assistant is cold and VERY rude.I had a swollen face, invited lymph nodes, and she informed Dr. Shepard that something wasn't right. I was dumb-founded, I really needed help. He took an x Ray that showed decay at the root of a lower molar that had penetrated the den.tin. I was informed of nothing. I informed Dr. Shard that antibiotics were making me sick, that I was rinsing rinsing with warm salt water. He said continue. The assistant clearly did not like me. I felt I had done something wrong by going to the office. I thought I must look horrible, I am not dressed good enough, etc. I felt horrible Because of abscessed tooth. The dentist merely said you need a foiling. I thought this required a root canal. I asked about alternate antibiotic, the assistant antibiotics, assistant rudely stated I didn't need any. Sceduled for filling, on Dec.13, 18. Called Dec. 12, 18, office cancelled appt., and rescheduled for Dec.28, 18. I informed them that tooth is still troubling me and my jaw is still swollen. I was informed that he has been out of the office all week. So why schedule the appt.? This is the 2nd time they cancelled the aapt. for tooth repair. The first time they cancelled when I was sitting in the parking lot. I had to go to ER for antibiotics. Very poor care. I now have to cope with abscess throughout the Christmas holidays. The infection concerns me. I was very disappointed and wish I had more money. I may have been treated better. I felt as if I was not good enough to be a patient there.

Besides taking tennis lessons from Bill at Eden Park, he became my dentist. Even while living away, I would fly home to see him. Thank you!!!
