Bad dentist. Told me my mouth was in worse shape than it was. Went to Dr. Palmer's in Eureka and my mouth wasn't as bad as Dr. Taylor proclaimed. They don't call you to schedule appointments if you haven't visited in a while, they just send you a letter in the mail telling you that you need to make an appointment or they will drop you as a patient.

I called to make an appointment for my mother who was a patient and had broken a molar. I was told she would not get an appointment because she had not been to see Dr. Alberto in a year and that she was dropped as a patient. I have never heard of a dentist dropping a patient so this was very odd. I also thought dentists were supposed to help people! This dentist office is unsympathetic and rude.

Waited like 5-6 months for initial appointment. The assistant who did my cleaning had smelly gloves. The cleaning procedure involves a ton of water shot into your mouth at a high flow rate which was uncomfortable. When Dr Taylor examined me he suggested I needed serious work on a particular tooth, work which I questioned because my previous dentist I loved and trusted that I saw every 6 months for 15 years had never mentioned anything about that tooth being wrong. I asked that they review my records from my old dentist to see if it had always been like that and perhaps was ok as-is, he said that would be fine but the front desk pushed me to make an appointment for the work suggested, I asked to wait to hear back about my records. The lady at the front desk then called me a few days later repeatedly leaving messages requesting I schedule the appointment for the work suggested. When I called back and explained why I was hesitating she said that I needed to go somewhere else and they were dropping me as a patient. I don't know if the work suggested was needed or not but I feel it was unfair for the front desk to push it on me and to drop me as a patient because I hesitated. I now have to find another dentist and likely wait another 6 months etc.. Posting this review to inform others and to hopefully inspire the office to review their processes.

Dr. Taylor is a wonderful dentist. He has detailed directions for before and after difficult procedures that all but eliminate your pain. I've had cleanings more painful at other dental offices than Dr. Taylor's crowns. Absolutely the best. Bar none.

The people who work here are rude and bad. They lack basic empathy and are only interested how much cash they can immediately extract from you. If you get anxiety or just don't enjoy power tripping staff who think it's appropriate to yell at patients look elsewhere.

WARNING. Don't get ripped off for something that you don't need!!! They pushing people do to any kind a work doesn't matter if they don't need because they need a money to cover there expenses!!!

I have had many terrible experiences with dentists in my past. From that, I would get anxious at dental appointments. The entire staff has helped me to have a better experience with my dental care. Everyone is so kind and considerate. I now have almost no fear with going to see the dentist. Thank you all for being so warm and inviting. Dr Taylor is the best dentist that I have met in my 37 years. I am confident that choosing this office was a great decision.

I spent 8 thousand dollars at doctor taylor. I had a implant. The implant failed in 13 months. Dr. Taylor left me in the chair mouth open for three hours while he got a part. Now his secretary has extreme attitude problems. Go elsewhere. I am posting a complaint and suing the doctor

Ask the community This was literally the best dental experience I've ever had. I am a college student who didn't (up untill now) have a primary dentist in the area. He and his staff were professional, kind, and knew what they were doing. Also the environment was spotless. I can not believe how great the quality of work Dr. Taylor produces is. I am so grateful.

Fortunately, Dr Taylor's office was taking new patients when I had to flee my last dentist because he re cemented a crown in a tooth "with just a little decay in it." Don't we all know this doesn't work? It got very infected and, fortunately, I was able to get in with Dr Taylor who had to extract the molar! Since then, I have gone to Dr Taylor for x-rays and he has found a problem with another crown that my previous dentist missed. I would say that Dr Taylor is a no nonsense dentist who is extremely thorough. 5 stars so far!. And, the staff is delightful.

Alberto Taylor Did all of my cavities... and all the time was caring and attentive to my needs.. he did such a fine job and there was so little pain, no more than I could bear, even in a place where I just had a bundle of nerves just ripe to give me pain I only had like a 5 on the scale of 1 to 10 in pain.. he is very skillful meticulous, and gentle in his work, and did such a fine job!!! therefore I give him a 5 star rating!! thank you Dr. Taylor!!

WARNING WARNING WARNING What a joke. The poor front desk iNs their front of a pompous money hungry establishment led by a gross rude and throw up your lunch hygebist/office mmgr. They'll charge you more the less work you need done. If they don't you get you for the "extra extra x-rays" then the various random charges for everything's from your 5 minute late arrival to a overlooked question on your exam they nickel dime for everythibg. The hygienist overweight and unhappy was the rudest of the entire awful experience. In fact her odor was worse than her condescending attitude. And my crystal who knows probably blurry. Didn't even follow the doctors orders instead insisted i make a follow up appointment, me coming to back here .... I'd rather get run over by a bus. Keep away go next door to the other dentist the people who came out of that place were smiling. WARNING TERRIBLE TREATMENT AND DENTISTRY

Truly a wonderful dentist. A true artist, integrity to the craft is not lost on this one! A very special find I will always keep in mind for a recommendation in the Humboldt area. Thanks Doc!

Dr Alberto Taylor is an excellent dentist with a fantastic staff! Dr Taylor is passionate about dental and personal health, and I know I'm in good hands under his care. I was grinding my teeth in my sleep and even while studying, I couldn't concentrate or sleep well until he made me a custom night guard, worth every penny even as a broke college student. I have been using it consistently for a few years now, and I can't imagine if I had kept trying to use over the counter mouth guard products that never worked or fit my mouth. He also put in a crown for me that was actually fun! He 3D prints beautiful crowns in his office, and it can be installed in one visit instead of two. All of the work and cleanings has been painless, comfortable and top-notch. Dr Taylor's attention to detail and quality is priceless, I highly recommend him and his staff.

Growing up in a military family, I moved many times and had to endure numerous dentists. Dr. Taylor is by far the best dentist I've ever been to. He is caring, direct, intuitive, and efficient. He is very professional, yet still cares about each patient individually. He was very straight-forward in letting me know about what work I needed done, and I appreciated his direct style of communication. He really does care about what's best for each patient. I am so thrilled to have finally found a dentist I hope to stay with for a long time!
