Solano Family Dentistry

I'm awaiting two spine operations and recently had to go onto Medical. I have one wisdom tooth that needs to come out, and two fillings of mine fell out a few months back. The dentist here told me I needed multiple caps (4 or 5!) on top of my wisdom tooth and two cavities. Caps are $1200 each and they aren't covered by my insurance. I told him that I'm unable to pay for those at the moment, and he said if I didn't pay for them, he is unable to provide any dental work for me. None! My experience here was an absolute waste of time. I'm left with holes in two of my teeth still because I didn't cash this clown shoes dentist out. I gave two stars though because everyone else working there was very kind and professional. I'd recommend Dr Joseph Meade, or Dr Ronald Tosch in Benicia if anyone is looking for a dentist who's skilled and won't shamelessly drain your bank account. Only reason I gave him a try is because he "accepts" Medical. Ridiculous.

I have nothing but good things to say about Solano Family Dentist! I've been to quite a few dentists and none have been worth going back, but this place is AMAZING! Very clean and friendly atmosphere and the staff all make you feel like part of a family!! Dr. Salek is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! You can tell that he really cares about his patients and does amazing work!! I would definitely recommend Solano Family Dentist.. jk my poo so soggy from denter Tyrone.

Doctor does good work but seems to rush through it. I am leaving this practice to go to another because the new dental hygienist does next to nothing for cleaning teeth.

If you’re new to Benicia then you’ll realize just like I have that medical offices are limited here. I do have to say this Dental office was great and I totally recommend others to try it out if you’re looking for a new dentist. Beautiful water and hills view as you sit and wait for the staff to assist you with your dental needs. Waiting time wasn’t too bad typical for any other dental office. At the moment you’re still required to wear a mask and take your temperature prior to going into the back of the office which I like and everything is pretty organized and clean. Staff was very sweet and the dentist took his time wasn’t rushed. He explained what was been done and made my kids and I feel comfortable. I liked that they don’t force any procedures to be done but they recommend and let you take the time to decide if it’s something you want or not. SIDE NOTE: For those that like the dentist for their free bag of samples they do not hand that out at the end of your visit.

I was experiencing major pain and problems with a infected tooth. I didn’t have insurance and the doctor agreed to see me immediately. The staff worked diligently to provide me with everything I needed. They were very comforting to me while I was in excruciating pain. We realized that the tooth needed to be extracted. The doctor and staff jumped into action. Part of the tooth broke and the doctor and staff remained on point and after a few minutes were able to remove the remaining tooth particles. I was then given a healthy amount of bone grafting and stitched up with out incident. The doctor agreed to provide me with a aggressive treatment to hide the embarrassment of missing teeth. The office is spotless and clean the staff is ( Johnny on it) I met a bunch of strangers who helped me when I needed help the most. (They came and they gave without taking) They are worth the trip. I drove two hours from my house and it was well worth it. (Signs and symbols are for the conscious mind)

The staff gentle and hospitable from my x-ray tech, front desk staff and doctor, they took the time to explain my situation to me in understandable terms. And this was my first visit to a dentist in some time but it won't be my last with Solano Family Dentistry...

I really like this place. The girls at the front desk are very kind and polite. They go out of their way to make an appointment for you if you have to return for further care that is appropriate for you and your schedule. And the doctor is a very kind and gentle guy. I recently had a root canal that I was not looking forward to and he got in handled business which he did not take very long doing and sent me on my way. I would recommend this place to anybody who asked me very very good place. And it's also a very clean environment.

Ive had a great experience going here, my teeth were not in great shape and they have given me m6 smile back. All the staff are great and I really like the dentist, he sure knows his stuff. My son goes here as well and he said tbey are great also and he liked them as well. I will be continuing to bring my son and I back for our dental needs and routine cleanings, I highly recommend them to all people especially if you need a root canal and crown

We've been coming to Solano Family Dentistry for just over five years now and we love it here! The staff is friendly and helpful. Our now four year old has always had a nice experience here she's excited when it's time to visit the 'tooth doctor' and have her teeth checked and cleaned. We recently took our almost 2 year old for her 1st check up and they were amazing with our little babe. Even before Covid-19/pandemic they were always super clean and sanitary. Would highly recommend others coming here if you're looking for a good family dentist.

Dr. Sulek is great at what he does and is gentle and sure of his every move! Works with you in anyway he can. Definitely my go to. His assistants and front desk workers are just as great !

Dr. Salek doesn’t try to do unnecessary work for the sake of increasing his bill. Also, very friendly.

I’ve been using a Solano Dentistry for a couple months now they except Medi-Cal which is really nice and their service is also very detailed. I don’t feel like I need a second opinion when they tell me the work that needs to be done because they give me more than just one option or recommendation . I’ve also brought my kids with me to a few appointments and then doesn’t seem to be any problem with kids coming. I have got a crown put on in about a week later it started hurting I made an appointment they got me in two days later and fix the problem no charge to me. My crown was a little too high. Thank you dr salek for all your help and compassion while working on me .

Commercial orientated rather than patient supportive

Dr. Saleck and his staff were very kind and professional. I was quite uneasy about my required dental procedure and Dr. Saleck could sense this. He really put me at my ease and talked me through what he was doing and it turned out not to be so bad after all!!

I took my son to fix his tooth and after a while he's in pain again and I went to another doctor and diagnosed that the same tooth done incorrectly and need to redo again . I'm very disappointed from the service.
