On my very 1st New Patient appointment I waited 1.25 hrs and was tired of waiting around that I got rescheduled to come back the following day for the teeth cleaning. The front desk staff are all super sweet & nice. On the day of my dental cleaning, it was good. The dentist was good. They were training a new staff so my X Rays took way longer than normal for 6 x rays. They were all very professional & polite. It took 1.50 hrs to get a dental cleaning that day. Because you have to wait around a lot. I’ve never been to a dentist office where it takes this long to get a 30 minute dental cleaning. Today 6 months later I went in again for a dental cleaning, I was waiting around for 25 minutes, the people sitting next to me said they have been waiting for 1.15 hours for their appointment. So I politely let the front desk ladies know, I can’t wait any longer, I have to find a new dental clinic that runs on time. They all apologized and were very polite. Most people don’t enjoy going to the dentist. Thus being there for 1.5 hrs for a 30 minute cleaning is not fun.

Dentist of Cerritos is 5 stars. I am a new patient and called for an emergency appointment. They got me in within 30 minutes of my call. They found that I was having an issue with my wisdom tooth and with the oral surgeon on sight I was able to get the necessary procedure done right then and there. As uncomfortable as dental work can be all the dental assistance and Dentist made sure I was at ease as well as Paula their financial advisor. She made sure to go over all the coverage by my insurance and what they wouldn't cover she helped me with financing the remaining balance. Thank you to everyone in this office. I have found a wonderful dental office for myself and my family. I will be recommending to everyone I know.

Don’t like the service, price’s are to high when I called to make an appointment they would put me on hold for a long time and wouldn’t get back with me. I wouldn’t recommend this Dentist office to no one trust me not a good place to go…..I HAD MY WISDOM TOOTH PULLED OUT 5 yrs AGO TILL NOW 2023 THEY DAMAGED MY NERVES FROM WHEN THEY PULLED OUT MY WISDOM TOOTH 🦷 NOT A GOOD PLACE ????

Dentist nightmare !! On 11/11 I went to Dentist of Cerritos office for treatment on tooth number 18 . Dr Gurgen had consulted that I might just need a filling or a root canal . He told me that if I needed a root canal that I would have to come back Monday when the specialist was there . Once he opend the tooth he said he needed a root canal . He did not give me any pain medicine or antibiotics just said it will hurt a couple days take it easy. They set my appointment for 11/14. Once there at 2pm , again Dr Gurgen came into the office and started to numb me . I asked if he was a specialist he said yes. I asked them why didn’t we do the procedure on Friday then . He said because they didn’t have the machine. I challenged him and said no you said because the specialist wasn’t in. He and his Assistant assured me that it was because the machine wasn’t there not because he wasn’t the specialist. This would begin a nightmare of pain 1. He started drilling without the protection plastic ( dam) on the tooth. He realized moments later than added . The assistant made comment about this being her first time and not familiar. 2. After about 2 hours of drilling I began to complain about pain in left jaw and chin area . It wasn’t pressure it was pain. The assistant began to. Massage it for me . I told them my jaw felt like it was locking. 3. I kept complaining that my jaw was really hurting . Finally he gave me a resting block after having my mouth open for hours . 4. I told Dr Gurgen. I was in pain and could feel the clamp on my tooth. I could fill the pierce of it into my tooth . He said well we can’t take it off We have 45 mins left .(2 1/2 hours into it) It felt like the clamp was piercing my gums and squeezing my tooth. 5. Dr Gurgen and his assistant both couldn’t take a proper X-ray of the tooth and had to call someone else to try to assist this is after them taking about 4 x rays . 6. They used a lighter to heat an instrument and melt some object in my mouth
