I love Dr. Limhengco and his staff. Everyone is always so polite and warming. I’ve always been scared of going to the dentist but this place makes you feel safe and better afterwards. I made an appt for my child and myself for a cleaning, which is absolutely covered by my insurance. The staff was nice, but not upfront about costs, not well versed in insurance coverage, and we made an unnecessary trip there because they were unsure about what our insurance covered. The appointment was made weeks in advance. They did x-rays on both of us, but only brushed my child's teeth and told me they would not be able to do a cleaning at that time for my child or me. They never followed up. I had to call them several times to attempt to schedule the cleaning that we drove all the way there for (we don't live in Chico). I finally got ahold of the receptionist, and she quoted me outrageous numbers for cleanings. I almost made the mistake of having the services done, until I called my insurance company. They let me know I was definitely being taken advantage of and the services I was asking for are actually covered . It is safe to say, we won't be back and I recommend reviewing your coverage before using their services.
