Dr. Theodore Ionescu, and his staff are the most caring, friendly dental staff I have ever had the privilege of being treated by. Nav is back! She is the best dental hygienist I have ever had clean my teeth. She is thorough, gentle, and truly cares about her patients oral health. She “goes the extra mile” in examining every potential problem and makes great observations for Dr Ionescu to follow up on. During her absence for child birth, I was treated by the other dental hygienists at their practice who are equally as good, and I highly recommend them as well, but Nav has that personal touch, and knows and treats the rest of my family, that makes me feel like she part of the family. 3/23/21 update. Today Leticia did the “heavy lifting” preparing two of my teeth that needed some lite restoration so Dr Ionescu could do the final polish and fitting. She provided wonderful care and was very pleasant to be around. Again, the best dental care I have ever received. 2/25/23 update. Dr Ionescu and his staff continue to provide outstanding service. Navleen, my dental hygienist is not only concerned about cleaning my teeth and teaching me to better care for them, she noticed my gum below one of my crowns, that predated Dr Ionescu providing my care, looked chronically inflamed. She asked the doctor to look at it and he concurred that the margins of the crown were irritating my gum. They began a process to check if replacing the crown with a better fitting one would alleviate the irritation. You just can’t find better care than that. A staff and dentist that will go above and beyond the standard care! I can’t say enough about the people at Dentistry By Design. All of Dr Ionescu’s staff, including him, are the best dental practitioners I have ever met!

Last year: After my first visit, I am very impressed with the professionalism and quality of detailed care provided by Dr. Ionescu, his hygienist, Ellen, as well as all the staff. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming and every effort is made to put you at ease. Dr. Ionescu personally takes the time to educate the patient on best dental care and practice to fit the needs of the individual. Colleen provided a very thorough yet very cmfortable cleaning. This was the worst dental office I have ever visited. Very unprofessional and rough when it comes to dental procedures. The office secretary is not the sharpest tool in the shed!! Watch out for their temporary crowns because it will fall out the same day as mine did. I was chewing food and it came out were I bit it and almost swallowed it. The staff had no comment of the situation or no apology just excuses. Yes, the place looks fancy, but no one can hide behind unprofessionalism!

Nav is an amazing hygienist. She truly cares not only about me, my family but all of her clients. Today when I went in it seemed like we just had one of our many wonderful visits before she started to clean my teeth!!! I'm truly a baby when it comes to cleaning my teeth and Nav is regularly asking me if I'm okay, if she needs to give me anything for the discomfort! I didn't see Dr. Ignacio on today's visit, but he too is wonderful/AMAZING!! I have heard him tell a patient the same things he has told me, and my granddaughter and he tell it to each patient with passion, because he cares about all of us! Dr. Ignacio will not do a service unless you truly need it, instead he will watch and wait before taking any action. I would recommend Dentistry by Design to anyone! My family who lives locally, all are Dr. Ignacio and Nav's patients.
