Great staff, friendly and informative. Everyone that works there takes time to explain everything to you from procedures to billing which makes going to the dentist a great experience. Highly recommend this office

Had an unnecessary heated conversation with who i was told to be a person named Chi. At one point in the conversation i was told that i’ve only been to this office twice which is completely false. And even if i only had been there twice, does that make me less important as a client? I’ve been coming here a long time as has my wife. She kept talking over me and listen long enough to understand what i was saying. There were many many complaints during this interaction but i don’t have time to list them all. Have never had an issue before then, which i also tried explaining to her. Very unprofessional and unwarranted.

Dr. Nicole Smith is the best dentist I've ever had. She's absolutely wonderful and the hygienist and tech teams are amazing. Thorough and gentle, but also carefully explains everything. I have a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist but she calms me down. I had a root canal done here by Dr. Niavarani and he was very precise and painless. Wonderful staff, the office manager Chi is extremely kind.

7/28/22: After being a patient here for years, I just had a terrible prolonged experience with Huntington Beach Modern Dentistry. For now, suffice it to say after paying a fortune to have a modified partial denture adjusted, they left me with a Partial that did not fit, and just falls out and could be dangerous if used. Their solution was don’t wear it then. They refused to repair it or send it back to the lab Or provide a full refund for all the monies I’ve spent for this partial, saying it must be that my teeth shifted in the last three weeks rather than that somehow the lab got it wrong. What is strange is the “temporary partial” that I had worn before I got the permanent partial still fits fine before and after the extraction and if it’s fine now. In addition I have two other “temporary partials” that I wore since 1985, and they still fit fine. For now I’m just going to have to use the latest, old temporary partial. Dr. Hussein’s remark to me is I don’t know what I’m talking about because I’m not a dentist and he is. That doesn’t help a bit when my appliance doesn’t fit. Also, I’m not impressed with how “modern” they are. I thought they were able to make accurate scanned 3-D models of my mouth, but he seems like this is foreign to him and he has no idea how to read accurately the 3-D scan of the mouth and compare it to what the partial denture. Very disappointing. 7/29/22 HBMD posted a Published a reply asking me to call. I responded immediately by calling. 8/2/22 completely apart from HBMD, I took off time from work and had the appliance properly fitted at a local dental lab. It was easy and quick. They confirmed Dr. Hussein’s conclusion that 9/9/22 still waiting! 3/7/23 it had appeared we had reconciled in that the office apologized, but Dr Hussein would not. They asked me to continue as a patient and I agreed, just not with Dr. Hussein (I have had no other problems with staff). I scheduled an appointment with them this coming week, but just had the

I was recommended this office by a friend after having a bad experience with my local office. I was very impressed by the friendliness of the staff and their level of accommodation with my short notice and needs. Dentist offices are often vilified because they deliver bad news, and are usually only visited when something is wrong. Don't let a few bad reviews fool you, these people deliver a high level of service and are incredibly friendly throughout. I will be recommending this office to friends and family in the future.

Dr.Tarek Hussein is an excellent doctor !! He was educated, experienced and very explanatory Of my diagnosis. I would recommend to be seen by this doctor as he can provide an expert opinion on the diagnosis of the treatment that needs to be done.

Dr. Tarek Hussein is an excellent doctor. I would recommend my children and grandchildren to be treated by him. I had a bridge done and he was gentle and very kind and patient with the process. He explained my diagnosis and was able to facilitate my surgery and appointment to perfection. Truly great and best doctor.

Not recommended at all to my family and friends. They don't refund my money.

I feel like every time I come here I am pushed to do a long list overpriced procedures. I will not be coming back.

When I first started coming to the dentist I was coming and getting my teeth cleaned every 6 months and had pockets of 8 and 9 millimeters and teeth would be feeling rough and not smooth gums bleeding ,, changed to every 3 months and noticed a big difference no bleeding and pockets were 5 and 6 millimeters, after seeing improvements decided to try every month, and now my pockets are 3 millimeters, no bleeding gums are healthy and teeth are smooth and clean , food no longer sticks to my teeth,, no longer need to see the periodontist, before they were talking about having periodontal disease but with regular teeth cleanings it no longer an issue

I always have a great experience on my visits. Everybody is super nice and explain the procedures in detail.

The front office staff is very helpful and answered all questions. Dr. Hernandez is an excellent dentist. He is very kind and was very knowledgeable with diagnosing the pain I was experiencing. I highly recommend him, Dr. Smith, and the rest of the professional staff at this office. They are all very good at what they do.

I came in for an emergency root canal and I was in excruciating pain. The office staff and Dr. Hernandez could not have been more helpful. They got me in as soon as possible, and figured out the issue immediately. They set up an appointment for me to get a root canal with Dr. Rahnama and he did an amazing job. Dr. Hernandez is very kind and knowledgeable, and he did a great job immediately assessing the problem and helping me. I highly recommend seeing him for any dental issue.
