DTLA Smile

I arrived on time for my appointment. Receptionist let me in and told me someone will be with me in a moment. I waited 30+ mins in the dental chair very uncomfortable without anyone talking to me or giving heads up that there was a delay, I don't mind waiting or would have waited if they were professional about it. And when I told the receptionist I was leaving as I have to go to work, she gave me a weird vibe and said they were going to be with me in a moment which is exactly the same thing she said 30+ mins prior. Very unprofessional because advance notice or telling me up front there is a delay would be the right thing to do so I can adjust accordingly.

I was looking for a new local dentist that is in DTLA since I am a local to the area. The staff and doctor are amazing and are really good at easing patients like myself who tend to freak out a bit at the dentist. Definitely glad I found them!!! :)

I hadn’t been to the dentist in over 10 years and was super nervous to even schedule an appointment. DTLA Smile had one of the highest star reviews on google and decided to move forward with a consultation with Dr.Park. Walking into the dental office, you’re greeted with modern decor, a clean environment, and the friendliest staff (major thanks to Staphany, Natalie, and Evelyn) that create a welcoming atmosphere! Early on I told them I was anxious about my visit and they gave me a cute stress toy to calm my nerves. Literally had my first procedure (replacing 3 fillings) today and they even had a TV set up where I could play music or Netflix! Dr.Park was gentle and caused absolutely no discomfort. They ended my visit with a lip scrub and an essential oil infused hot face towel that gave major spa vibes. I’m super appreciative that DTLA Smile offers multi-tier membership plans making their services affordable and accessible to those without insurance. Already booked my next visit for a teeth whitening service covered by my DTLA Smile Care membership! Highly recommend Dr.Park and his supportive dental team!

This was my best dental experience of my life. Nothing was forced upon me nor did he scare me into thinking I needed additional work. The office finished my appointment with lip scrubs, moisturizer and hot face towel. I left feeling so good and ran into my office reffering this clinic to all my colleagues. The assistance are lovely and Dr Park is amazing!!

An elevated dental experience! Not only do they have the software to manage several out of state insurances, but they really dive into your benefits to ensure you are utilizing them! I have relatively straight teeth but after reviewing my insurance I was able to get Invisalign to fix the few that were out of place. After your service they also offer a hot towel and lip mask… so you aren’t walking out of there with dry crusty lips like at every other dental office. The waiting room is very aesthetic and the entire office is so clean. I’ve been here three times now and everyone knows my name. 🥹

Sooo…I’ve been here about 4 times in the last three months. First appointment, they took me in last minute because my tooth was killing me, keeping me up at night. Ended up getting that tooth pulled, and when I tell you easy breezy!! Felt no pain during, which was amazing #NumbingSkillsOn100. Since that went so well, I’m came back for a cleaning, cavity work (don’t judge me lol) and had to get a crown…I’m telling you all my business just to drive the point that they are soooo great here! Pain is not a thing, and that is one my main issues with Dentist! Also, they are so nice here…whole team! You know sometimes when you go to the dentist it feels like you just walked into the mean principal’s office, this one feels like you walked into your fav teacher office. Dr Park is a godsend and his office is a hidden gem in DTLA!! Everything about DTLA smile is impeccable. Dr, Park is very knowledgeable, patient and trustworthy, and does not try to upswell you any service. Previously I saw a dentist, who told me that I needed deep cleaning w/ laser since I’ve not been to the dentist for a while during the pandemic, but Dr. Park reassured me that I just need normal cleaning, which is covered by my insurance. He is also super patient and will explain every treatment in details until I understand. I feel like I’m not only getting my teeth fixed but also getting a dental school 101 course for free. I actually emailed the office before I went for a consultation and Dr Park not only responded to my email super fast, he also answered the phone and talked to me for a while and helped me figure out my insurance situation. His assistant Stephanie is a also a sweetheart. She is super friendly, and will bring you water, ask you who your favorite musician is and play their music for you, and also frequently checks in on you to see if you are comfortable. There’s a lot of details from the service here that you won’t normally get in other office. The location is also convenient. There’s a parking garage nearby at 712 S Main St that’s $10 for the whole day, and the front desk lady Natalie will reimburse you up to $10 for the parking, so it’s basically free. There are a few lots that charge you $15, so make sure you read the small text on the sign. The office is also beautifully designed and decorated, as well as the website. Whoever did the design and marketing for the office is definitely a genius. There’s a sense of aesthetics and everything here is executed with perfection. The staff is also very diverse and speak multiple languages (English, Spanish, Korean and etc), the vibe is chill and happy and you don’t feel stressed being there. I started going to DTLA Smile in early 2022. I was going to a different dentist in DTLA before the pandemic that didn't do a great job on one of my fillings, and I heard positive reviews from others who had tried DTLA Smile. I'm glad I tried it out. Since I had postponed cleanings due to the pandemic, I needed a few fillings, and Dr. Park did a good job with them. I just had my second cleaning, and everything was in great shape. I also have to give a shout out to Staphany for having the best energy. She is always a beam of light to talk to during my visits!

I don't know where to start, Dr. Park saved my health. It was my first time at the clinic and I was greeted with B who was friendly, cooperative & comforting, helped me with my xrays & kept an optimistic & friendly demeanor. Next, Dr. Park came in for evaluation and he answered all my questions thoroughly, was professional, honest, kind and knowledgeable, most importantly he knew exactly what my health condition was and made a plan for treatment. He's hands down the best dentist I've visited in LA, my favorite aspect about this office is not only their professionalism & experience but also their kindess, they treat patients with utmost respect and give evey patient their time which makes the visit even more rewarding, you feel as a patient that they actually care about you and you're not just another number.

I want to thank Dr. Parker and all of his wonderful staff for being the best dentist I could ask for! Everyone there is so positive and have the amazing energy, every time I leave from there, I leave with a big smile because I know that I’m in good care. Dr.Parker helped make a difference in my life, he helped create my smile into the amazing smile I’ve always seeing myself having. I love smiling so much more now, I smile every chance I get.
