I had scheduled a routine cleaning and x-ray here about a year ago. The lady who is the x-ray technician is also the front desk billing person. She was incredibly rude and hostile and tried to coerce me into doing a deep cleaning on the spot, which I refused because I had had it done less than a year before. She overbilled my Dental PPO and charged for deep cleaning services that were not performed. She CYAed by telling me that she would be calling my services by a different name, and that that is what would appear on my bill, but that I should have no balance. It turned out that they billed beyond my maximum coverage for the year, and I did end up with a balance. After being on the phone with CIGNA, I filed a complaint with the California dental board. I’m posting this review a year later to caution people. Do not sign anything here. They will doctor documents and make it look like you signed off on a false dental payment plan. Dr. Raff, who actually did my routine, standard cleaning, and his assistant, were both really great, skilled, and gentle. Hence the two stars.

SCAMMERS RUDE, WILL SCREAM AT YOU OVERBILLS INSURANCE STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE, CLEANING WAS BELOW AVERAGE I went here for a cleaning and new x rays. I booked with them because they take my insurance and I mentioned this when I made the appointment. My exam was extremely basic. I don't even think they had me wash my mouth out with listerine. The dentist was not who I thought I called to book with but they were nice so I thought nothing of it. BIG MISTAKE. I ended up getting a bill from my PPO insurance company saying I need to pay 300$ in overages for my basic cleaning. I called the company and they said they were confused because it seems the office overfilled for the average cost of a cleaning and took 3 or 4 additional X-rays resulting in this overfilling that I was now responsible for. When I called the office to ask why this happened the woman was extremely rude and yelled at me saying she did nothing wrong and there is no such thing as overages or having to pay my insurance company to pay them. She said "there is no such thing you don't have to pay, don't pay it" I told her about the average cost and the additional x rays, she swore they were all needed and they did nothing wrong. After a second call where she screamed at me like I'm some moron again. She said she would file an amendment to the claim. That was in June, it's not November. I'm going to file a grievance against this office through my PPO insurance provider.

Customer service warning ! ! I recently called my dental provider and asked to switch to Z Dental Group. When calling to schedule my first appointment. I was extremely surprised with how rude the front office lady was over the phone. It's unfortunate I will need to search for a new dental office. I hope the dental work is more professional then the front desk.

Great and thorough service. Friendly people at reception and in the treatment room. Very accommodating with weekend appointments available; easy parking. So glad I found them!

The Dentist and front desk staff were not just flexible and friendly but also knowledgeable and efficient. They considered my special request and gave me an appointment even on weekend in short time. The dentist took time and provided thorough analysis about my teeth. Highly recommend. And would definitely choose this place for further treatment.

Today I had my first appointment ever at Z Dental group to get my wisdom teeth extracted. I don’t often post reviews, but I was so happy with the appointment. I felt like I was in excellent hands, and Iveta and Dr. Rostomian made me feel so safe and comfortable. Iveta was so kind and helpful in response to my many phone calls with questions in the days before the procedure, and Dr. Rostomian was really friendly and did a great job with the procedure. Overall I would highly recommend Z Dental group to anyone looking for a great dentist or oral surgeon. I plan to make them my regular dentist.

Since 2012 Z Dental is still my go-to. I actually moved to Philly for school for 2 years in between and still refused anyone else. They do everything small and major for me. Major work: -full invisalign -2 veneers for my front two teeth -partial porcelain crown Iveta went above and beyond for each of these major services. She got me fair prices with basically designer veneers (because are you really going to get middle of the pack veneers for your TWO FRONT TEETH? - yeah no) and handled it every time I had an issue with my temps. Literally I must be cursed because A. someone chipped my front tooth after slamming me in the face with a glass at a dark.. place.. (uh yeah clubbing) and B. every time I left LA, the temp FREAKING FELL OFF. Yes no this is an act of the universe because I could do anything I wanted in LA (hard sandwiches, basically everything they warned me not to do) but the minute I land in any other city, the temp freaking falls off. I went to emergency dentists in other cities to put it in and it literally fell off immediately. Iveta and team went above and beyond (literally cramming me in last second when I land back in LA) and every time, they really fixed it (had to redo BOTH temps in different settings). FYI the temps were also gorgeous, couldn't even tell they weren't the real deal. The process took a little longer because they made sure my finals were PERFECT and not just ok. Literally sent them back to the lab because he didn't think it was up to his standards. My invisalign experience was the same. Iveta analyzed my stuff repeatedly to make sure it was up to her standards. If you're going to get anything major (or minor), come here. They're detail oriented, open late and honestly have a great aesthetic eye. Iveta always notices things I need to touch up on and does them.

Dr. Harutyunyan is amazing. He explains everything very well and does great work. I had crown and he did an amazing job. The tooth feels perfect and is the best work I've ever had done. I'll definately recommend him to friends and family!

Exceptional. Within minutes of walking in the door, they had my details updated and very kindly scheduled a same-day appointment to address some severe pain I'd been experiencing. Dr Rawad Raman and the team provided outstanding care and performed a relatively painless extraction, thoroughly explaining what was happening at all stages. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and am looking forward to checking in again in a few weeks!

This place is a scam city Don’t come here or they will charge a arm and a leg and tell you that your insurance is out of service

I was not happy at all with their services. First, they billed and received $750 for not performed work related to Ortho. When I found out and asked them to put the money back, the clerk, Ivetta, refused to do that until this issue got reported to the insurance company. They also failed to handle two root canals which unfortunately I lost both teeth. This place charges for none performed or poorly performed services.

Charged thousands of dollars for work that needed to be redone elsewhere......

This place took great care of me before I moved. I wish they were still my dentists. I can speak highly enough at how great this place is.

The worst I had a emergency and they were trying to take advantage .they wanted to charge me 300 dollars just to walk in .

Had to go in for an extraction since my regular Doc was away and this was 24/7 but they gave a huge list of things that needs to be done finally decided to wait and meet my regular doc and he just did what was needed and said the other items were unnecessary.

The doctor was nice and calm but their process needs to improve. For reasons beyond my understanding I've been requesting for a copy of my x-ray for the past two weeks via phone and e-mail but I keep getting the same answer (we will send it to you by the end of the week) I cant go to an ortho without the X-rays or else I get zapped again.

They are the kindest, most caring, experienced dentists I've been to. The entire staff goes above and beyond! They even have a good sense of humor, which goes a long way for a person with total dental-phobia, like me. Office is very clean, and they are available 24/7. LOVE!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️

This is A great Dental office, great dental care and the staff are so friendly. They really go out of their way to make you comfortable and welcomed. From now on this will be the only dentist I will go too. I got A deep cleaning for a very good Price! They did an excellent job now I feel much more confident!
