If you feel that you are paying too much or overcharged on your costs. Check with your insurance to see what the contracted rate are after they had billed your insurance . I was surprised to see how much they overcharged me and how they would charge my deductible each time I went. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning due to the sketchy charges. The tech were well educated and throughly explained flossing and brushing but other than that, it’s just another dentist place. Response:my plan does not have a copay. It has a $50 ded and that was all. Yea, check your EOB that way you can see if you are being balanced billed as well. Compare with the contracted rate.

Ended up signing up as a patient myself when I brought my son in for a cleaning. Was very impressed with the facility and the level of service we received. Looking forward to addressing some dental issues I've been putting off. Thanks guys you are really an asset to the Merced Community and I for one appreciate you. I'd give a thousand stars if I could. The staff was SO nice! They really know how to make you feel welcome and safe. I have such an aversion to dentists but they made sure I was comfortable. The most neurodivergent-friendly dentist I have ever visited. I highly highly HIGHLY recommend!!!

Such a nice atmosphere. Staff are friendly. The doctor and hygienist were thorough and made you feel relaxed and eased my daughter's anxiety of being at the dentist.

Accepted me because of my insurance , used one of my full exams, diagnosed me , charged me ahead of time to keep my name on the schedule and proceeded to cancel the next 2 appointments. And I was then told , they were “pretty sure” they could see me the following week. A waste of time and use of an exam.

Staff is friendly. All your dental and financial needs are well explained and easy to understand. They listen to any questions or concerns you have.

I was visiting from out of town and had tooth pain. The office was able to get me in to be seen right away. They were awesome!

I need to start off by saying, I'm terrified of dentists. I get extreme anxiety with just the thought of having to go to the dentist. However, just walking in the door to Pearl Family Dentistry, you get in instant calming feeling. The staff are AMAZING!! The atmosphere is so welcoming. I've seen both of the Drs. and they assured me I was in control the whole time. If I felt anything, put your hand up, if something was wrong, put your hand up, if you need a minute, put your hand up. I informed them that the noise of the drill really bothers me and makes my anxiety escalate. They let me know I should bring headphones to try and drown out the noise. To say they are accommodating is an understatement. Everyone there goes out of their way to make your experience fantastic. I cannot say enough amazing things about them!

Dr. Badwalz is a very competent and knowledgeable dentist. He even called me himself after my root canal to see how I was doing! I was able to get in right away with a cracked tooth. I highly recommend Pearl Dental.

Let me start off by saying I didn’t go to the dentist in a few years due to a horrible experience. Both dentists at this location are extremely nice and make u feel very comfortable. I felt nothing and my teeth are looking so much better. Thanks to this office and these dentist I have completely changed my mind about being scared! 100 percent recommend!

I was very skeptical about getting Dental work. I've had bad experiences in the past and was supper anxious. The hygienist Alissa and Lauren made me feel supper comfortable and reassured me everything was going to be okay. Dr.Badwalz was amazing and took care of my dental concerns. Thank you to all the staff that took care of me!

I have always been mindful of where I go for dental care/healthcare, but from the moment I walked in I felt welcomed and safe. The entire staff had patience with me and worked with my busy schedule and panic attacks. I feel safe in their hands and trust what they tell me, never have I felt that I belonged more to a dental office until now, I walk in and see familiar faces they remember me and conversations we had. They are the definition of professional and comfort, I wouldn’t want to go any other place, when I leave Merced this will be one of those things I will miss, the safety and comfort I have here. As a UC Merced student I appreciate that they accept UCShip and are understanding with what comes with being a student. Thank you Pearl Dentistry!!

My favorite Dentist! Everyone is so nice and they do their absolute best to make procedures painless. I had many fillings done and was very nervous but they kept me numb the entire time and were very gentle, even put a blanket on me when I was shivering. (They even gave me tools to clean my fresh wisdom teeth holes - which I had removed elsewhere.) I am currently between insurances and paying out of pocket and they have helped to make everything very affordable.

Wonderful people! I haven’t gone to the dentist for 10+ years so I knew my mouth was in for some serious work. I was super anxious coming in but they were so nice! They explained to me what needed to be done and why and they also work on your schedule. Love coming here for my dental needs!

Pearl Family Dentistry is a wonderful place! All the staff were so kind, knowledgeable and professional! The dentist took his time and did a thorough exam and answered all of my questions! Crazy as it may sound, I’m actually looking forward to my next visit to the dentist!!
